Put a pencil under the slack line while you are pulling the sinew taut. And this is the first Glitch that I LIKE! Yes, it has an Aztec "feel" to it. Thanks for posting this, I think I will try it now!

I cut the slack line...it also makes it A LOT easier to undo it when you rinse.

I've been doing glitch ice dyes with larger messy tall folds at bit of an angle and using very splitting colors like grays etc. the results have been so awesome!

Ok, now I gotta try this! :) I still have some dresses to dye (found some white dresses and skirt shirt sets at Target and Walmart pretty inexpensive, so I'll have a new, unique wardrobe for the school year! (I teach art in a high school).

I have never in my life seen someone use powdered dye for a tie-dye OR SNOW that's so interesting

I love the shirt I just did my one did not angle the colors. Came out okay going to try again.

Watching you with the sinew, I remember previous times you've talked about the slack lines and it occured to me that what you need is something like a sewing thimble to protect your finger. Something that you can slip in under the line, pull tight making sure you keep the slack, protect your finger and remove your finger as you tighten till your heart's content.
