@@BellaMaesDesigns I thought you said there’s a pattern for the petticoat. I can’t find it anywhere; I checked your Etsy shop and on your website. Is it not available or am I missing something? I want to give this skirt a go but in vanilla/peach/rose gold color scheme.

I love this! You said the dress was based on a design from the 60s, but it reminds me of mid-late 2000s prom dresses. Bright colors, lots of tulle and glitter, layers upon layers of petticoats. It's nostalgic tbh.

Wow turned out amazing. I had forgotten your practical approach to getting things to fit. Get it on and fitted and then cut up the mock up- very pragmatic. Feels like all those Cinderella replicas paid off. ❤

I see the reference to the Vintage Barbie. But when I first saw the dress on the cover photo, I saw Dance 'n Twirl Barbie from abt. 1997. Right down to the tulle sash across the shoulder. It's a beautiful gown!

What a glorious dress! I love the flashes of darker pink as we catch a glimpse of the petticoat. There just is not such a thing as too much floof! You found some wonderful places to shoot the reveal. My only regret is that that lovely convertible wasn't pink!

This style of dress reminds me of the dress in that "I Love Lucy" episode where they both show up in the same dress to sing on stage a song called friendship. They end up tearing their dresses apart as they sing because they both promised the other they would buy a different dress when they realized they bought the same one.
