Literally the only person from tiktok who’s music career seems legit. Like she can actually sing and her songs are well thought out, it’s not all love songs but has a deeper meaning not to mention the music video is literally movie worthy. Everything Bella is doing for her music is very well thought out, like she only has three songs out and they are all sooo goodd and her little friend cameos are such a nice touch and shows that she takes music seriously but also wants to have fun with it and share her achievements with her friends.

It may just be my own personal interpretation, but I love the moment where the „doll“ who was seemingly programmed to attack Bella happened to stumble upon what is happening in the world outside what is essentially an echo chamber, locked in a box and unable to see the violence and prejudice being performed against her own kind, and she truly opened her eyes, now understanding Bella‘s anger and courage to fight back against those above. It feels so similar to people who grew up the way I did, with conservative Christian parents who pressed the beliefs that women should be the way men want us to be, and I was so heavily anti-feminist up until I turned maybe 14? Cause i had just been raised my whole life to believe that feminism is dumb and unnecessary, when in reality, as soon as i began to crack out of my parents shell of beliefs, my eyes have opened so wide to the problems we face as women and i now fully understand the anger and frustration of all the feminists I used to look down upon when I was young. Love the song, love the music video, love the messaging behind both!

The story Bella tells with these music videos are so interesting. We see Bella start a rebellion that she ends up not winning (at least immediately.) She even was about to get defeated by Grimes. But Grimes notices all the harm that the people she works for are causing the other dolls and stops. This message, especially in our current political climate is so important.

The ending realization was so well conveyed. Society in most of it's parts programs women to be what they want them to be. There are women who were forced to conform and there are those who resisted. And the end of the day, this conditioning and division of women due to standards and expectations of society pushes them to turn against each other unconsciously, while the main villain - society in all of its discrimination and misogyny, gets away with everything. It is only when we see, as women, that we're all in this together and we should have each other's back that we can actually resist and successfully defeat the villains.

The message of the song is phenomenal and timely relevant. Grimes portrayal simply implies internalized misogyny while dream is a manufacturer of dolls according to what society's standard and expect girls to be as dolls: perfect, toys and submissive.
