I have used this method with paper mache works just as well and has the same appearance and is as strong as wood itself.

your ability for priming and not getting on the frame...is God like!! haha, I always try, and always get it on the frame, haha. Im not a deliccate hand, haha. Bravo!

: Curious how thick you would go or have gone with plaster. ? Referring to plaster only, not including a under-layment or substrate. Do you have a preferred underlayment as well? I have used a lot, ulimately, they seemed to all have done the job. But some I wouldnt use a thin coat over. Great work, Bravo!!
