I just received my Tea Leaf Layer on Friday and it had the ‘contour and lift’ around the face. I actually don’t like that! I very much prefer it to lay down myself. Rose Ella was one of my first wigs and I love her. I’m thinking of getting a new one as my blonde color preference has lightened up since back in the day. Thanks so much for doing this review. I was on the website yesterday and I saw this color was on kona which is my second favorite and hopefully they will bring this color out on bonbon too which you know is my favorite in this line. Very pretty wig. I have always been happy with my Belle Tress wigs. I really like their blonde shades. I am a natural redhead but have been trying to branch out in my colors. Just trying to have fun. I figure that having hair loss is no fun so I might as well embrace the fun of changing up the shades and styles. My friends and family never know what to expect me in. Lol

Hi Taz! Just wanted to give you a quick update about how my kona by Belle Tress held up during the 4 concerts. It's probably safe to say that she needs to be put to rest. If I had had ANY other style, the same I'm sure. I dance and sing and make the most of that moment so any style would take a beating😊. I had the time of my life. (and the cherry on top was them showing up at an art park opening that not alot of people knew about but I was there. Greatest moment of my life!!!)

In Nursing school, no RN, Instructor or Student was to show up on the floor (hospital unit duty assignment) with any hair on their collar!! We all used those large clips to keep our hair up, unless wearing a top knot under our caps!! It was definitely a different time, Kiddo💖!!! No question we were polished for work!! If a wig is ever like a big, fluffy blanket of hair to cozy up to is Roze Ella!! Only thing missing is a mug of hot cocoa and a Hallmark holiday show. Just in time for fall. I don’t know if you remember but I wrote you recently to tell you my new Belle Tress wig was slipping off my head. I remeasured my head and it’s 21 inches. But my hair line in the front is pretty high and my head isn’t very rounded in the back so I think that’s why I was having trouble. I think I’m gonna try Welch wigs next.

I use Sensodyne Gentle Whitening toothpaste daily:-) I have also used the Crest White Strips, but not very often.. I am afraid they will damage my teeth if I use them too often. I am prone to, yes you guessed it, coffee stains..lol! XOXO

Instead of using heat (which I’d be too afraid of killing the wig to do), couldn’t you spray with water & pin a piece in front to curl up (and maybe twist a bit) & let dry? That’s what I’ve done with troublesome pieces & it usually works! 😀

Yes, Belle Tress features some center and right part options, but most brands will always do a mono part on the left XOXO

You’re definitely my favorite wig reviewer, and being new to this due to Covid hair loss I have watched a lot of them. Actually, half of the top of my head on the right side is now bald. You look gorgeous in all of them. My question for you is in photos the wigs look like very natural, but I’m not sure they look as natural in real life. I have Raquel Welch …Wow, Rene of Paris…Laine (I love the length and style) but it is the most fake looking to me in person, and Ellen Wille …Touch. Do you have any suggestions for making them look more natural? I think Laine looks fabulous in photos, Wow looks ok in person and Ellen Wille looks the most natural in person, and I would love your insight please? I have finally gotten over being weird about wearing them , but do you ever get over feeling like you can’t wait to take them off your head? 🤦‍♀️🙏🏼💖

Are they in blonde shades? I find that getting the right tone of blonde for your skin tone makes a huge difference. My mom had cancer and bought several Raquel Welch wigs but she never wore them and always said they looked stupid on her. I didn't get a chance to see them on her and thought she was just uncomfortable. I have all the same coloring as her and I tried them on recently hoping to score some new ones for my collection. They are all very golden shades and I feel that they look super fake on me. I don't know if it's just that I've never been those shades and never would... My natural hair is dark ash blonde and pre hair loss, I usually wore it in a very light cool blonde. My cool tone wigs look natural on me almost out of the box (just have to adjust the weird zig zag parts). How long did hair loss take to happen after covid? I didn't know that it was a side effect. Mine fell out a few weeks after having covid. I've been to a hair loss specialist and she spotted a few problems but maybe covid was the catalyst that made it go from slowly thinning to just gone :/

I haven't used a lip pumper..I tried them once and thought my lips were numb..lol. I use Maybelline Ink Crayon in #15 Lead The Way XOXO

I’d like to add another comment. I just bought this wig in rbfb I am hoping it looks nearly as nice on me as you. My question is do you spritz a little water when putting a contour in your front. Also what is your recommendation on keeping the ends nice? A hair dryer aS well? I’m sorry if ysaid I have the flu ugh

Get well! I do not use any water.. my preferred heat appliance is a hair dryer on low setting to lift and contour the front. For longer heat friendly styles, I like to put the hair up off the neck often to preserve ends. Simply Stylin Light Silk Spray on the ends every few wears or so. XOXO
