The $250 Jumpsport shown is the lower end, non adjustable bungee cord rebounder. Go for the 350 Pro or 550 pro, which compares in price point more closely to the Bellicon will give you the ability to adjust the firmness of the bounce that you prefer! I’m team Jumpsport myself!

Once a person does just a little deep research regarding the quality of the Bellicon steel frame and weave of the mats they use so as to prevent pronation of the ankles, there is really no decision to make other than the Bellicon. I have used mine for a decade. Only changed the bungees a few times and that is really simple. Will never buy a spring minitramp again in this lifetime.

I had a very bouncy mini tramp back in the late 80s that I used and loved but after years of not using it, I sold it in a yard sale. Prob for $5 lol. I'm in my mid 50s now. Have chronic body and joint aches. Dr says fibromalgia because they don't know why. I've been eating conivore for about 6 weeks. I've lost 30 pounds and pains are much better. I still have maybe 20 pounds to go. I saw rebounding is good for lymphatic system and cellulite, which I have all over, so I bought an inexpensive $50 mini from Walmart. It's fine but feels way too stiff. Like you said, feels like jumping on the floor. Made my lower back and knees hurt just going for 5 minutes. I just can't afford the Bellicon but watching your video makes me sure this would be the right one to get. Good video. Thanks for sharing.

Felt guilty spending the $ but after reading TONS of reviews online in videos & comments, I figured all the people who ended up with inferior brands spent the same by the number they upgraded & traded out over time. Hi, so glad you elaborated on these. I got a travel van, and am wondering if the 39 with the comfort mat expanding the surface a bit will be too small in the long run lol. (I do have rebounding experience). My van could prob hold the bigger 44 but lots of things will have to go in that van.
@brentsmith1
@brentsmith1 3 жыл бұрын
Hello again ☺️ Have you considered the folding legs on the 44"? It would make things easier in the tight quarters on a van. It would make it very easy to pull out and set up outside. If you do go with the 39", consider the softer bungees. If you were thinking strong, go with medium. The small rebounder seems to be more stiff than the larger ones. I wish you fun and safe travels!

Hi Marci! I have a 49" and a 44" Bellicon (which is shown), and I have used a 39" Bellicon many times, similar size to the JumpSport. The difference is the quality of the bungees, no matter what size / bungee strength the Bellicon, there is a softness and ease felt in my knees and ankles that is not found with the JumpSport. The JumpSport has a 'thud' feeling on the bottom of the bounce, where the Bellicon rebounds me back in the air. I hope this helps, please ask more questions if you want. I hope to see you bouncing soon!

Hi @Linda Allison, Thanks for the question! I am using the JumpSport Model 220 that costs around $250. I am addressing the question of why someone would buy a much more expensive Bellicon rather than a much lower priced one on Amazon. I have a question for you Linda if you have the answer... Do the more expensive JumpSport models use different material in their bungees than the cheaper ones? Or are they the same material, but adjustable for a different stiffness? I wish you fun bouncing and health!
@littlelulu10
@littlelulu10 3 жыл бұрын
@@brentsmith1 The larger 44" models use a stronger bungee. They also have more knots to adjust the firmness. Some of the more expensive models use 36 instead of 30 bungees. The legs of the more expensive models are also arched, which may provide more stability. I have been researching both the Bellicon and the higher end JumpSports. I prefer the design of the bar on the JumpSport, but I keep hearing that the Bellicon has a "better bounce", whatever that means. If Bellicon had a better designed bar, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one.

@ILOVE2FeelGOOD
@ILOVE2FeelGOOD 10 ай бұрын
Softer for fun definitely but not too soft. I've had mine for 10 years and after around 4 years of regular use it's a good idea to change the bungee ropes as overtime it'll become too soft and when you bounce you'll touch the floor. If you get the stronger ones the bungees should last longer but not as much bounce.

I didn't want to spend the money on a Bellicon so I bought the Leaps and Rebounds rebounder. I think the Leaps and Rebounds rebounder is okay. I was doing KZfaq Bellicon workouts and I noticed I could not keep up with the video. So I spent the money and bought the exact Bellicon as the one in this video. There is no comparison. I love the Bellicon. It is a much better rebounder. Recently my mat tore on the Bellicon. I was upset I wasn't going to have it until I could repair the mat or buy a new one. I called the company and they had me email photos of the tear. Well it was still under warranty (5 years) so they sent me a new mat for free! I just put it back together today! I ended up selling the almost new Leaps and Rebounds rebounder on Marketplace for a fraction of what I paid for it. If I had to do it all over I would say buy the Bellicon. It is the best and worth the money if you are going to work out at home. I don't work for the company and there is not a place near my home to go try out a Bellicon. I just took a chance and ended up happy I did.

@@brentsmith1 - Hi Brent. I haven’t tried the Cellersizer but as I am looking to replace my existing rebounder I have been doing my homework on the leading brands. Cellersizer is spring based but the springs are designed in a way that many like, and puts it at the top of spring based rebounders. Some have gotten joint pain from it after working out on it a few months. The creator, I think his name is David Hall, said, pain will occur if used incorrectly. I know someone said after speaking with him and started to use it correctly their pain disappeared. I know of reviews where people have said they that they own both the Cellersizer and the Bellicon and wouldn’t give up one for other. I don’t get that but there you go. I’ve also read that a woman who owned both wouldn’t let her elder mother use the Bellicon because it’s too easy to roll your ankles on it and gives her mum the Cellersizer instead. The thing I do like about the Cellersizer is not the rebounder but the workouts the creator has posted on KZfaq. They are great and quite varied. Bellicon seems to want to squeeze every last dollar out of us. They do have workouts on their KZfaq channel but if you want the whole shebang you have to pay a monthly subscription. So this is what I’m going to do. I’m buying the Rolls Royce of rebounders, The Bellicon, I’ll purchase some of their accessories from other sellers. For example, the non-slip, rubber sole socks. Bellicon are sells them for $28 a pair in my country. I can buy a very good pair from someone else for $14. Also, the hand weights, rope (for resistance training) can be bought cheaper elsewhere. Then I’ll be gradually working my way up to doing Cellersizer fitness workouts. The best of both worlds. If you do manage to compare these two rebounders even after I’ve bought my Bellicon, I will still watch. I’m very interested in an honest review. Blessings to you.

I am looking to purchase a rebounder for the first time. Missing the gym and other group activities, plus just love the ease of availability to promote regular activity. I am a senior but generally have been very active, but this quarantine is limiting to dog walks and some hikes. There is a used Bellicon locally, the GO model, which doesn't have removable or folding legs, and thinking it's a deal breaker as don't have a lot of space in my home and figuring might want to put away at times. But debating if might be a good way to get started and see how like. I did see some refurbished online, doesn't look like a huge price advantage but there are the Plus models with the T bar. Thus far haven't seen videos of much use of that. Is that worthwhile? And does comfort mat offer a real advantage? Might just jump in and get what makes the most sense.

Hello Mary, thank you for the questions! First of all, YES, get a used one if you can find one. You will begin to use it and it will be very easy to resell when you want to change. As you can see in this video link, the Bellicon stores well being on it's side. Also, I am not a big fan of the folding legs because of the noise it makes on every bounce. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mc-ThqehyMrZiXU.html I just posted a video explaining the Plus model bar, it is great. Here is the link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kJmRfpp1zNCnYKs.html I realize there is a lack of videos using the bar, so I will definitely work on making a couple videos with it. My Aunt just had hip surgery and she loves the bar for the added security. We like to do balancing and 'yoga style' poses with it. I wish you many more hikes and bounces in your future! @@brentsmith1 Thank you! Helpful. And I did finally find a video of a routine using the bar, included a bit of high jumping with just a light touch on bar, and looked like great fun. Someone from Bellicon replied to some questions I had and cautioned against relying on it versus the benefits to your core of standing straight, unless really needed. But I had been interested how it might be incorporated into whatever doing on the rebounder. Looking forward to having one in my home.

I went to the bellicon website, and it’s 2-3 weeks to ship. I’m in Florida. Do you know of anyone who sells in the states? Also, what band strength are you using for your bellicon? I think I will start with the jump sport like you said, then upgrade to the bellicon.

Hi Diana! The Bellicon website orders are assembled and shipped from Chicago. I live in Southern Florida and it normally takes two weeks to show up at your door, I think UPS. If you have strong motivation now, grab the JumpSport to get started. Don't overdo it at first, light jumps 5-10 minutes at a time. The goal at first is just to get the blood flowing. I enjoy using mine every day because I don't treat it like a 'workout'. As for the bungees, my wife has medium and I have strong. The graph Bellicon supplies on the website on what bungees to get is spot on. Get 'optimal strength' depending on your weight. If you are on the line between the strong and medium for example, choose the 'softer bounce'. 'Firmer Bounce' is more for HIT training. Have fun bouncing and I wish you health and joy😊

Hi there! At first, I would say the first couple months, the legs loosen and need to be tightened down until they settle. Whenever I move the rebounder, I just make sure they are tight. I would NOT use lock-tight on the threads, you would never be able to remove them. It is convenient to remove the legs if you ever need to put it in the car or something. I purchased a mini trampoline from amazon and used it for 4 days on the fifth day I woke up with severe back pain and I was bed bound for 3 days. I had more inflammation and pain from my lower, mid and sometimes upper back for a further 3 days after that. With rest thankfully the pain subsided. My question is should I quit rebounding to avoid further injury/pain or would I benefit from purchasing a better model like the bellicon? I really want the benefits of rebounding but I am unsure now if spending more money on a different model will actually help me to avoid the same issues or would it not really help me at all? Thanks for any advice

Hello there CinnamonSwirl! I am so sorry you had that experience, I am glad that you are feeling better. I am not able to say if your back would be fine with rebounding. I am not a medical professional and am not familiar with your situation. I do know though that I have a tendency to overdo things when I first get into them. I always say that the benefits from rebounding doesn't come from a strenuous workout, it comes from light, balanced controlled movements. Just light bounces can make a world of a difference. Look at the 'live videos' on my channel, it is a great example of how I think the rebounder should be used. If you think your back will be able to do those exercises, then I think a Bellicon would benefit you. The Bellicon, in my research, is the best quality and custom you will find. I wish you luck and so much health and fun!

Hi. Are you reviewing the Classic, Premium, or Plus?
@brentsmith1
@brentsmith1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Deb, thank you for asking! In this video I am using a Plus. It is a Classic with a bar attachment on it. I will do a short video on the bar attachment soon when I can find the time. All three Bellicon's use the same bungees and mats. The only difference between the Classic/Plus and the Premium is the material of the frame. Other than the look, they are all very well built and bounce with the same quality. I hope you are bouncing soon and have a wonderful new year!

Hi, How a bout a video with "Frame Cushions" to see how much noise this cushion produce ?
@brentsmith1
@brentsmith1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi there☺️ thank you for the question! I have not used a Bellicon with the frame cushion. It does not seem to have a use other than somehow protecting kids to fall through the bungees. Even if it was for children, I would put the Bellicon on its side when not using it and supervise the child when they are using it. I would recommend the comfort mat if you were looking for more room to bounce on the trampoline. It is a very nice bounce and looks great. I hope this answers your question. I wish you a wonderful week!

I bought the Maximus Pro rebounder last week. I realize now I should have done more research. I am using it and getting good health benefits. It does fold up and has the stability bars which I have not installed because I don’t need them. This rebounder is stiff so I’ll probably sell it at some point and upgrade to a bellicon to avoid hurting my joints and lower back. I weight 112 and I’m 5’3” and just turned 68 so maybe I can last awhile on this stiff rebounder without hurting myself. Any advice is appreciated about rebounders that are stiff. Enjoyed your video. Thankyou. Charlotte

Hello Charlotte, good morning! Well first, congrats on getting a rebounder and using it. The benifits are incredible and you definitely will have more energy during the day. Something great to do on this rebounder is to 'closed chain' bounce. Meaning your feet don't leave the mat. It might sound counter productive, but it is great to do. Without leaving the mat, more focus is made on balance, abs, and your pelvic floor. You also have the lymphatic cleansing as well. I would recommend 80% of your rebounding time, don'leave the mat. Practice breathing into different parts of your body with focus. Most of the time I am on my rebounder, I don't sweat. I use the time balance, breathe, focus and relax. If you get that down before upgrading, your Bellicon experience will be awesome. Thank you for the compliment. I wish you so much fun and health!

@@brentsmith1 Hi Brent. I must admit I was overdoing it so I have backed off and following your suggestions. I have really good balance so I immediately became airborne and was having a great time. My thighs and even my traps were becoming sore (not a bad thing) but my neck got sore that’s when I realized I overdid it. So I’m doing the healthy bounce now and being more mindful and letting my body adjust to this new equipment. Thanks again Charlotte

Does weight make a difference between the 2 models?
@brentsmith1
@brentsmith1 3 жыл бұрын
Morning☺️ I would imagine that it does make a difference in stability. The Bellicon is a little heavier, but the JumpSport has the legs that extend out from the mat, which makes it more stable. Thanks for the question, wish you a wonderful day!

the problem with these comparison videos is which ever the person has, says it's. good. it just seems that cost is the factor. They call can't be good. Bellicon is like buying Mercedes and everyone says the VB is poor mans ride.. it's not a good comparison. you're a rep for bellicose, I'm a 70 year old woman . which way is the best way?

Nice demonstration, but you might want to consider doing something about how much echo your voice (the room) has if you're hoping to turn viewers into subscribers. You're quite hard to understand due to the low audio quality.

@@brentsmith1 I'm not audio professional, but to my understanding there's two basic methods: - change your microfone setup (lavalier microphone to get the microphone close to you and thus reduce the needed gain) - change your room (I see a lot of blank surfaces for sound to bounce off of) You'd be better off finding material from people who know what they're talking about, though.

Sound absorption with diffusers and bass traps. It can get expensive quickly even the bare minimum will help greatly with the sound reflections. The floor would benefit from a rug since sound is bouncing off those tiles. Close miking is another technique as someone else mentioned as a possible alternative to sound treatment. There'll still be reflections but if done well, it won't be as obvious.

Brent, I have 44" , I feel 49" have more space to bounce for wide jump jacks, I am 5.5 feet, what do you suggest ?
@brentsmith1
@brentsmith1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi again Divya! Let me think of the best way to explain this.... You are not restricted from any workout or move on the 44". The 49" offers you more room to maneuver. It can be fun to bounce back and forth while feeling more secure, it's more forgiving. If you have room in your home for a larger rebounder and can afford it, you would not be disappointed by moving up in size. I wish you luck and so much fun bouncing!

@brentsmith1
@brentsmith1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi there! It's a great question if you have only used a spring trampoline or one without a lot of give. The better rebounders have tons of give, sink deep into the mat (tall enough to not hit the floor), then propel you up. This motion creates an easy experience on your joints and knees. If it doesn't spring you back up, you might as well go running. I hope this was helpful. I wish you so much fun and health!
