BEST MINI TRAMPOLINE TO BUY
I run through spring loaded and bungee style rebounders and my personal perspective on both.
You must always take into account these 4 things when purchasing a rebounder
1- Do you want a spring loaded or bungee style rebounder?
2- How much weight does the rebounder you want hold?
3- Do you want a small or larger bounce space?
4- What is your budget? Entry level economical? Mid-Range? High End?

I've had my Leaps 5 years also. 2 years ago I left it outside to use all summer and its still going strong even though I thought the sun would dry it. This year ill be getting a new one. Its a great brand and the kindest bounce on my knees.

Cellerciser for the win! Definately worth the investment. Had a bungee type for a while and developed some foot/ankle issues simply because the mat and bungees did not give consistant support. My feet would tend to pronate. The Cellerciser is well engineered & built! Dave Hall (company owner) is always glad to answer questions and offer advice, he stands behind his product.

I've really thought about getting a Bellicon. But I have reading a lot of reviews lately that talk about what terrible customer service they have---that they are often not reachable, don't answer their phone, don't return calls. Also that that they are very slow to ship, don't supply shipping notifications, etc. People don't know where their rebounders are or when they are getting it. Since the Bellicon is so expensive, all these reviews has made me re-think ordering from them.

Hey all! The Leaps & Rebounds now offers a softer bungee alternative. I'm trying out mixing them in, on the 48"model, with the standard bungees their rebounders ship with. I'm liking the placement of one softer bungee at each of the six legs. I don't know if anyone else has tried this. I wish I had the money for a JumpSport 500 level right now.

Nothing could be better than a Cellerciser. It is the perfect rebounding exercise machine. It has springs that are very quiet if you oil them every few years. It is guaranteed for a lifetime ... including if you weigh a lot (up to 300 pounds, although it still works up to about 400 pounds). It lives in the middle of my living room in a place of honor. The balance bar gives security if you need it. I would not want a softer mat and the mat seems to give just the right amount of spring. You can even buy a portable one. Even if it was $1,000 I would buy it as a lifetime gift to myself.
@AngieFitnessTV

that is the pure beauty of why we pick the rebounders we do love. I do not recommend spring loaded at all after 23 years of teaching rebounding. I only recommend three brands as I have tried most spring and bungee style rebounders. I absolutely understand picking a rebounder is really a very personal choice according to our budget, body needs and what we are specifically going for. So glad you found a rebounder that works for you.

your video is pretty great and so are your replies in the comments section. Two thumbs up, fitness lady! I'm going for a bellicon and have definitively decided against the smallest size thanks to your insistance on how important this feature is. I'm also wondering about the bungees strength, coming from a spring rebounder i'm afraid i'm gonna need strong bungees for my weight. I'm surprised one can have non-sweaty workouts on these things, as that's impossible on my springs one:) Maybe I'll need two sets of bungees because the soft option seems interesting to have, but dangerous too (pronate, a word i learned on this page:). Thanks again, one of the most informative videos if not the top one I found. Muchas kisses!

I'm having a hard time getting in touch with Leaps and & Rebounds.. You cant telephone them either, which is not good. Not sure where they are located but I doubt its USA. I had questions for Bellicon, also, regarding shipping and bungie strengths. They have an 800 number and the rep was very nice and answered all my questions. Made me feel if I had an issue with the product, at least there is a live person to take care of it quickly. There is something to be said about German engineering and the materials being non toxic that they use. I've been waiting days for Leaps to get back with me. Haven't called Jumpsport yet but glad they have a tollfree number! By the time I added what I liked into my cart it was close to the same as the 44" Bellicon, but I am unsure now that you mentioned the mat feels better quality on the Jumpsport. It's a huge investment during these times to buy anything like this for people. I am really confused on which to go with atm! Thank you so much for your vids, I love your channel!

I have a cellerciser bi fold it’s ok, but it’s supposed to be transportable, but at 33-34 pounds but feels more like 50 lbs, and awkward to get it in and out of its case, I’m not inclined to use it I end up just walking. Using it in my living space is ok , but depressing because I work 3rd shift so my room is darkened for sleeping, so I don’t hang out in that space,and I can only stand to be outside for a couple of hours in the evenings because it’s in the high 80’s until 10 pm now because of summer. When I’m not working. I got the leaps and bounder which is 17 pounds that I plan to transport and just use the cellerciser over the winter and on rainy days when I’m off work. That’s a lot isn’t it, just in the logistical practicality. I also have a, is the grass greener enough to get a better rebounder cost be damned situation going on because I kind of feel I already choose and bought the wrong rebounder for me by getting the very expensive cellerciser that I’m not using. Now you have me eye balling the 550 JumpSport., and send back the leaps and bounds while I’m in my 30 day window. 🤯😱. It’s a brain buster. Thank you for giving me your honest opinion, you have named all the rebounders I have thought of.

I am considering the jumpsport 550/570 or the Bellicon. A reviewer in amazon stated that in less than a year he had to replace the mat and the bands on his 550 at a considerable cost. How long have you used yours and what is your take on that experience.

How is the longevity on the JumpSport bungees? Having knots in them doesn't strike me as something that'll help it last longer. I own a Bellicon so I got curious after your praise. Given that I dialed in the amount of tension on the Bellicon by combining the yellow and red clips 50/50 because yellow was too weak and red a bit too much for my taste, I'm not convinced that the JumpSport could offer a full alternative. PS: I've owned the bellicon for 5 years now with daily exercising and of the two full sets I mixed and matched I think one half has breathed its last and the other half will probably last another year or two. Three years seems pretty decent. Some rough math and a count of 82 bounces per minute says that that's probably around 3-4 million bounce cycles durability. Most of them high enough to get my foot off the mat, though not sweaty exercise level. JumpSport claims between 0.8 to 1.6 million bounce cycles, depending on the model. I'll reiterate my concerns about long-term durability, especially since I fail to see any replacement bungees listed for sale on their website.

I just bought a "48 inch Newan Rebounder for under $100 and am extremely impressed with the quality on ALL parts! The bungee cords are metal reinforced where the knobs attach to the bungee cords and the surface bounce area is amazing! Even the special tool included to attach the cords to the frame waz high quality! I've been enjoying the " no noise" bounce and it's very easy on my knees. I love it! I saw the Cellerizer in action and the springs were noisy. Check out the Newan!

Thanks! I am 6'4" and I don't know my weight. I was around 300 but I've lost around 3 notches on the belt and still going down. So, I take it the higher weight limit is going to be a stiffer bounce. Does a heavier person make that bounce a little more comparable to a lighter person on a softer bounce rebounder?
@AngieFitnessTV
@AngieFitnessTV 4 ай бұрын
No- not necessarily. It just means the rebounder is made to go up to a certain weight. It has nothing to do with bounce feel as being firm or soft.

After my ASD son destroyed two different mid-priced spring rebounders *within six months* of their purchase, I went ahead and splurged. I bought the Jumpsport 550f pro. Cantilevered legs for stability (option of a grab bar), multiple positions for the bungees for firmer or softer surface, it's *quiet* . and it has replaceable parts.
