I'm sorry but the way he LOOKS at her. He looks at her like she's everything. Even when they were younger. You can't fake that kind of look. He is such a fantastic actor as well as she. Even when she's not looking, he still looks at her with want. With Jeremiah, it's different. It's as if she's a prize and he's waiting to get it. Competition. Conrad, he WANTS her. You can tell with every moment he's spent with her. I've never really read any of the books from the author but it makes me want to. I really do hope we get to see more adaptions like this. 😊💕

Nothing against Jere, but jeez Conrad is Belly’s soulmate. He’s so emotionally similar to her, they make a good team (as seen during the volleyball) and he’s so attentive to her when he wants to be. He still needs to learn to open himself up and be emotionally available to her more but he’s the one!! Team CONRAD!!!!

chris briney really grew up on me haha i wasnt sold on him at first, but he managed to capture conrad's essence so so well. his soft spoken, broody personality, omg it was everything!!! its like reliving the books all over again

The big thing people need to realize is that conrad was always there for her. When the boys didn’t include her. He always made her feel special. When he started feeling the butterflies he got scared he didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t fall completely he thought he had to be strong for his mom. A lot of boys think they can’t love someone and still be strong and at the end of the season he realizes he can be both. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett vibes. They Always Are Drawn to each other.

I really love jeremiah, but come on, that's great love right here between Belly and Conrad, every silence, look, or action spoke for itself. I didn't read the book but the ship is so strong here

I think Conrad has always loved belly but was too scared and with everything going on with his mum he tried to push her away so he didn’t hurt belly, i don’t think Jeremiah actually loves belly as more than a friend I think he’s intrigued by her as she’s older and prettier now 😀

I've just finished it like 10 minutes ago. Oh my God!!! It was so good I'm obsessed. The story was beautifully told even with all the changes they did it still didn't miss the essence of the books, the actors were perfectly casted, honestly they all really felt like Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah, Steven, Susannah and Laurel. I am so moved it's beautiful to see a book that means so much to such different people be so beautifully portrayed on tv ❤️ And also #TeamConrad all the way, I've been on his team since I read the books, Jeremiah is great and the actor who portrays him really did him justice but he's just not for Belly, I'm sorry.

I read the trilogy when i was 12 years old and KNEW this would be adapted into tv-series someday. Conrad always had my heart...it was always him. The last book made me certain of it even more when i saw how deep his love always had been for Belly.

Conrad and Belly were really destined for each other. Conrad cared for her ever since the beginning. The little gestures he does for Belly when they were young speaks a lot on how much he loved her even before. Conrad has a special place for Belly on his heart and the same goes with Belly. And yes, for me Jeremiah and Belly's relationship is more of a sister-brother relationship vibe. It's just that I can't feel the same way on what I feel when Belly and Conrad are together. Like, it's far different. But whenever Conrad and Belly are together, it's like they are really meant for each other. And in the end, they will always find a way to be together, they're inseperable. It's very transparent from their eyes on how inlove they are every time they stare at each other. Conrad and Belly were born to love each other ♾

The chemistry between these 2 is off the charts. Literal goosebumps everytime they interacted, all the secret glances. I was a a bit confused to find out so many people ship her with Jeremiah when that relationship lacks the flavour and history these 2 have and literally came out of nowhere, up until Jeremiah saw Conrad and Belly almost kiss, he had shown 0 romantic interest in her, not to mention he was giving villain vibes the way he was scheming a bit. which isn't to say I hate him, I actually loved his character, it's just why would anyone prefer Belly/Jeremiah over Belly/Conrad is a mystery

U guys always forcus at how the boys look at Belly, but if u see how belly looks at Conrad and the way she smiles at him, it just describes how much she loves and has always loved him. Just perfect 🥰🥰🥰

I watched the series for like 5 times now, Conrad is shown to be like 17 years I guess and him not leading on belly has his reasons, did anyone notice how adults in the house wanted Conrad to look after younger ones because he was eldest, he already was dealing emotionally with his mom being diagnosed with cancer, I think so at that age when u are urself trying to understand life he was filled with responsibilities, belly mentions about how Conrad used to lecture about smoking, but he was going through alot as being 17 and eldest, so him not showing much emotions are all valid. If u see the flashbacks he is the only one who cared and protected belly all the time, he liked her who knew he would have been normally asked her on date but this summer he was suddenly on a emotional roller coaster, he started to drink, smoke and shut all his feelings, his mom said too classic Connie, he never hurts belly in series he was always there around her to be in her presence, he didn't led on his feelings because he knew he would screw up because he was aware that if he starts anything with belly it would not go good. He was too mature and respectful, I feel belly was on Fastrack, just wanted everything so fast like ok no Conrad I'll go with cam Cameron, no feeling only Conrad on mind, broke up, next Jeremiah. I think belly should have been patient I mean she just turned 16 and I know this is the summer she turned pretty but she is the one who messed up not Conrad. And also don't compare book with series they are not the same. Also Jeremiah trying to compete with Conrad was so uncool why would u do that to ur brother out os spite for a girl, there brother bond is so weak. Jeremiah should have told Conrad that he loves belly and the end. Teenagers love dramas,

I’ve wanted to read the book for soo long that I couldn’t hold myself from watching the series. And now that I’ve finished it, I immediately started reading the book online. The cast did the book soo gooood. I loved every one of the cast and their characters ahhhh!! One thing is that, while watching the series, Conrad reminded me alot of my first love except that he just needed me but didn’t want me enough. Kinda triggered my past wounds but can’t help but be Team Conrad!!! Cannott wait for season 2.

Because it's fabulous, like every word, every note, every scene, the coloring everything is perfect, it gave me chills! also the way you hear some dialogues in between Taylor's voice is magical and mystical Also they're both so cute, they're literally my otp, I don't think her with Jeremiah is just it..

this trilogy of books was my favorite when i was younger and i couldn’t be happier with the way they adapted it for the screen. i almost always hate screen adaptions but this one was so incredibly good. it truly felt like the pages of the story came to life. i can’t wait for next season

the way Jeremiah‘s action was portrayed and him showing feelings or interest in belly did seem like it was just this competitive streak he had going on with this brother but call me an optimist I truly believe that Jeremiah‘s feelings were genuine and true because going back to the whole titled “the summer i turned pretty” I feel like the series was announcing differences and changes for everyone not just belly even though it’s mostly was about changes in belly that summer I believe that throughout the series and in the summer Jeremiah really grew to “like like” belly the same way that Conrad did maybe like not be in love with her but like see what everybody else fell for like Conrad and Cam like they generally want something with her and I think Jeremiah wanted the same thing. even so I’m glad Conrad and belly got together because they’re honestly endgame and I feel like there were more of a perfect match if she just stayed with Jeremiah due to the fact that like you know she was just trying out in general cos she could see a future with him but like she wasn’t in love with him as she was with Conrad
