The hardest part was Susannah asking belly to be loyal and strong for Conrad, to be there for him. To understand his grief and be patient. Like a month later, she gives up on him and tries to protect herself from the pain he could cause her, by choosing Jeremiah, thus hurting everyone even more in the long run. She could have slowed down and stayed single for a little while. 😭

The thing about Conrad is even though he's not good at faking happy emotions, like Jeremiah in season 1, he is incredibly self conscious of his emotions and his state of mind. which leads to him feeling guilty for everyone else around him and so he chooses to remove himself for the sake of others people's happiness, regardless of how much more it will hurt him. I mean, this is the same boy that once hid the fact he had a BROKEN ARM so he wouldn't "be a bother" to everyone else. Deep down Connie is just a nerd that feels everything on a much deeper level than anyone else. This boy gets so much hate just for having trouble dealing with his emotions and I don't know how but they treated Connie worse this season when they knew why he was feeling down than last season when they had no idea and had nothing to go on besides him being a jerk from their prospectives. I didn't think that was possible. I just wanna give Connie a hug and never let go. He deserves way better than what season 2 have him. Seriously, since when was it ever ok to be mad at someone for wanting to leave prom because he's moody that his mom is on the last leg of her life. Belly thinks that she has the same kind of bond with Susannah as the Fisher boys but she doesn't and even if Susanna did survive it would still never be the same. She thinks she's going through the same thing as everyone else but she's not. If not fair for her to put her way of dealing with things and her way of grieving on everyone else like it's supposed to be the standard or something.

Belly and Conrad are good together and they have good chemistry. One of my favorite scenes is when Belly says she is chilly and without looking up Conrad hand her the sweatshirt 🥺. The prom scene was very emotional and that’s when I realized that Conrad needed time to process and heal and being with Belly at the same time was helping him in a way but he wasn’t dealing with his pain. Conrad broke Belly’s heart and she broke his but I still think they make a good couple. Jeremiah and Belly tho 😳 their relationship is a mix of cute and spicy and it’s adorable

I was kinda mad too whenever he left belly at prom but whenever i actually thought about it all it made me do is understand that he was going through a lot. He gave her a second chance and gave her his heart without needing anything in return. I hate in the 3rd book he makes the mistake when they were on a break, but he regretted it and probably did it because he was also hurting, he should have been given a true second chance as well! In the long run, the stability, the positiveness, the support and the communication, is what you most appreciate and what you look for in a long, serious relationship and I feel Jer would give Belly that! #TeamJellyfish!💕

From an outsiders pov, I just feel this guy keeps bread crumbing her. And what's all this talk about being infinite? The way she talks about him feels very idealized... Like his actions aren't reflecting the high praise he's receiving idk

I just don't see the same thing between them that I see between her and Jeremiah. Jeremiah and belly were best friends before anything, he knows her like the back of his hand (which they stated many of times ). Now I've never read the book, but just by me watching the show , in my opinion Jeremiah's much more mature than Conrad when it comes down to relationship wise ( and a few other things) not to say that he doesn't have some developing to do but he is younger than Conrad and closer to belly's age. When I watch Belly and Conrad I definitely see love but I also feel a sadness. I don't think that what they have is good for them and I don't believe it'll last. Do I think that she should have been with both brothers? No it's giving messy but she's a kid and she's learning. Same with all the guys. I hear a lot of people talk about what Conrad was going through and I understood that in the beginning. But by the time Jeremiah found out as well that their mother was eventually going to die and then to have belly basically push him to the side after kind of getting in a relationship with him first before Conrad is pretty messed up and it should have been talked about amongst each other and I feel like Conrad should have just been a big brother and see the wrong in this situation. But at the same time Belly was infatuated with Conrad since she was a child and ultimately we all knew that that is who she was going to always want or would have always thought what if... With that being said, it's still heartbreaking because her and Jeremiah were friends first before anything and now that they have incorporated intimate things like kissing and feelings, it definitely can get messy and people can get hurt. But to me it seems like belly was more hurt and had more pain when she wasn't able to be around Jeremiah or see him Happy ( which kind of strength her relationship with Conrad). Every single one of these teenagers and the young adult needs to grow up and develop and their learning. All serious don't have to end exactly like the book as we can see in vampire diaries ( which was a book originally ). When she looks at Jeremiah, it's not only with love but with passion and vice versa. When they kiss it's as if it's the only way that they could get air. You can feel the chemistry between the two. I don't have anything against Conrad but where I would take the show is him going on a Love journey himself and really learning his ways because ultimately he's a little selfish and he doesn't know how to deal with his emotions because if you really love someone you have to be able to communicate effectively and as she is understanding what he's going through, and trying to be there for him and tiptoe around his feelings because she scared he might pull away because that's what he does. He needs to understand that she is going through something as well. Yes, this is not her mother but she was probably closer to Susanna than her own mother and have known that woman since she came out the womb. She is grieving and she is also in her transition through school as well as Jeremiah. Jeremiah, as I stayed in the beginning, lost his mother, best friend, and first love. But within all of that he would have still done anything for belly if he didn't feel he was going to step on toes. Or if he felt wanted. There's so many faults in the story in all of the characters, but I truly believe that. Jeremiah is not only the one for her but they are soulmates like her mom was to his mom. Last but not least, I really think season 3 needs to be her being done with both of them if she decides that she doesn't want to be with Jeremiah anymore. And I would want to see the journey of everyone mending the relationships they once had. Yes I know will never be the same but they can at least still be family. I will also really like to see Laurel step up more in the confidant/ mother role. And see Laurel become closer to the boys.

I'm team Colly not because I don't like team Jellyfish but because I mean from the start of the series I think it was kind of obvious to many that no matter how many twists, it's gonna be Conrad and so I know that Jeremiah is like being made to waste his time and he clearly deserves someone better who can cherish him and just look at him and only him.

I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story. Parents and siblings' family love is one of the strongest types of love there is. If romantic love is actually real, it would be one of the weakest types of love there is.
