This is my cover of Belmonts song Overstepping off the album Between you and Me. This pop punk band is up and coming and have become one of my favorite bands. Their ability to fuse pop punk, with catchy metal sounding hooks and drums makes them a must listen. Filmed and recorded by Kevin Wilson at Elephant Room Recordings in West Milford NJ.

It’s about 70% of the actual fills and ghost notes and accents etc. but even just getting through it in a sense is an accomplishment

This was the song that got me into the band and being a drummer myself I could really appreciate the drums played in the song. But it's safe to say you smashed it mate, FairPlay! If you ever get a chance would you do a cover of "Write me off"? I can't find any covers anywhere not even a live video of them playing.

He uses a snare, kick drum (with a double kick pedal), a tom 1 (I also suggest you get a tom 2), floor tom. For symbols, he uses the hi-hat, two different crashes, a 'China symbol' and a ride. :)

Your biggest issue is that you don't feel the groove in the fast parts. You loose that sense if smooth groove through the measures. Big part of drumming past just knowing the notes. Great job though. I realize this is outdated but still, good shit

Nice Job. Just when you mess up try not to look like you are annoyed. This video does look like you are trying hard because you get frustrated on little hick ups. Instead maybe laugh when you mess up and play it off as a joke. That way it is more comfortable for the viewer to watch.
