I'll stick to my Rock Slide Engineering power steps for my JL. While it's true for both stealth power and rock slide can work on as rock rails when your playing in the rocks...Rock Slides skid plates add on is a wise idea.

@@timpsencik to answer your question I added the extra armor(skid plates) after I put a huge dent in the driver side step. I got the dent out and with the skid plates now installed they are worthy rock rails.

Such a mall crawler. I don’t see why you don’t just use all the money laying around to build your Jeep in one week like everyone else with a Jeep and take it straight to Moab and climb mountains. Those tuck up running boards made sure of that cause they will bend and not work if they get hit on some rocks. You need to turn down the feelings and not get all shark week over internet comments. specially over a vehicle that's like you said not yours. People comment because we like to laugh at people that spends tons of money making something off road capable but never leave the pavement. specially Jeeps. The "Bro Truck" or "Mall Crawler" as you will. All show and no go. everything about the Rubicon is set up to off road. Because of that it is not the best on road. Not even the best Jeep on road. better off with a Sahara. as the Diffs and transfer case are more set up for that. The Rubicon is not so much. Then you toss a lift and tires on it making it even worse on road. not to mention lowering its performance capabilities. Nothing wrong with it like you said its his jeep, his money he do what ever he wants with it. just like I am the one watching the video and i can comment with what ever I want provided i am not being a racist homophobic bigot. But either way Its a mall crawler.

This is the only video i can find on YT about this JLU product. It's a shame you didn't do a more detailed install video, especially about the wiring. RBP doesn't have a JLU install video on YT or their website. Got to give you a thumbs down on the abrupt video edit.

There wasn’t anything to go into detail about in the wiring. If you can match the labels “driver front” to the driver front mount that is literally all their is to it
