Great job man! I'm done testing my duraspark II couse I have see now that my module is dead.

Thank you, I have been searching for someone to explain how this works. Without just showing troubling shooting videos of them changing boxes. One question on the duraspark is the third wire (black that goes to the dist) ground?

yes, black is a backup grnd

Unless I am missing something the coil wire(high voltage) should go to ground like a spark plug in engine block. the way you have it wired it is finding ground thru the switching wire on the primary wire on the coil. this is a ground that is switching on and off. I would be nervous it would fry the module ??..........Clayton

Did I miss were the black wire goes and the white wire one it to the battery and the other is to coil idk witch one goes we’re

Hello, i guess you talk about the Duraspark: Black = Minus battery; White = No Connection

nullbewahrer thanks I’ve have now figured out that my pick up broke this has been very helpful getting my newer OBD2 car running that still had a distributor but I am stopping the build because I’ve forgot everything that’s deleted like mass air flow and more I got spark but she never reach full power.
