I used to swim in Douglas lake on Rankin in Cocke County, & I'd look at the Silo's & I'd feel so very sad that some families lost their home to TVA. I lived in Newport, Tn.. For 33 years. I now moved back to my home State of NC.

If I were able to find such film, I'd have put it in this video. By way of the White Pine historical society i have recently gotten some pre flood lake photos from jeff county. I may integrate them into a future video.

Very informative historical info. Do you know if anyone has data on possible effects of East Tn dam failure, like Douglas, Norris, Cherokee? I found a program triton.ornl.gov called TRITON but haven't figured it out yet.
