I feel pretty bad for Tom actually because I know in the past he's accidentally given some stuff away but so have loads of actors. The fact he can still do such a brilliant performance whilst having NO IDEA what the story line is or who he's fighting because the directors and writers treat him like a child... powerful

Tom's known for being aloof. He's very present and it makes his a target for reporters. It's not so much being treated like a baby but being protected from the media and such for the stuff he knows. Since they know he doesnt know they back off him more and make jokes instead 🤷‍♀️ its a good tactic

Well in Marvel's defense, you don't want a whole movie ruined for everyone. And it's not just him being babied. All of the actors are treated at different levels. Benedict has gotten his trustability up. Tom hasn't been there long enough to get all the trust back. Even Mark Ruffalo isn't trusted completely yet even though it's been awhile since his last spoiler.
