I've recently seen a clip of a press junket for The Power of the Dog where Benedict says whether he's doing tentpole movie projects like the MCU or artisanal films like TPOTD, his performances must always have integrity, and as a long-time fan of his, I've never seen him half-ass any project he's done, and that's why he easily disappears into any role. A true chameleon of an actor. He takes any project seriously, whether indie or a billion-dollar franchise, but he never takes himself too seriously, as evident in these outtakes lol. Love that about him.

OMG the interaction between Ben and Liz Olson is FUCKING HILARIOUS!!😂Like that’s totally a soft-blow jab from a formally trained *cough* purebred *cough* English actor, and you can tell they have a good rapport. Her comeback is fucking fire as well. Makes me like both of them more. I get both angles, too. Because a lot of times they change stuff the day before shooting and even Tom Holland learns his lines the morning of so that it’s fresh, (because he’s not a formally trained actor; he’s mostly learned on-the-job end stuff, lol). I’m just saying there is more than one successful way of doing things. 😁😁✨
