I actually admire Craig. He was sheltered by his parents, but he is still making one hell of an effort to provide for his daughter. That situation would be hard on anyone, and I do appreciate him working that hard. I hope he is able to get child care, and a job!

She’s the one I have zero sympathy for. Six kids from five different fathers? The people who have to slog their guts out working 8, 10 or 12 hour days and nights to provide for themselves and their loved ones are the ones I sympathise with. They have to watch as Madame Clairvoyant eats up their tax money while giving her kids sage advice like “you don’t need a education”. She needs to get off her arse, get a job and have some self respect.

Sue telling her children that school was useless while she’s been on government benefits for decades was probably the least self-aware statement I’ve ever heard. I feel so bad for her children, because unless someone else mentors them, they’ll end up exactly like her.

In Britain "benefits," for who, is generational. Those who have a job pay for those who don't have one. No requirements you are to get training, learn skills, work in government work projects, to give people a sense of achievement and learning, before they get support (money). How the Nation has lasted this long is unimaginable. All rich countries have failed to solve poverty in their own country but Britain really out does all the others. These people are capable of contributing to their country but contribute nothing because the government only throws money at the problem not a solution.

When he said “look, the fridge is empty” and she just stood there…..my heart broke. No child should have to wonder about food. They should just be kids. I thank God for blessing my little family, but my heart aches for those who struggle. And now it’s 2022 and people everywhere are struggling and suffering. The evil people in this world are trying to break us. We know who will win in the end, but the suffering in the mean time is so hard.

Many years ago i left my ex husband and took my 3 kids with me and was unemployed at that time and was on unemployment i never ever had an empty fridge. Children were always fed and dressed. If he can not arrange his budget to feed one child he should not be allowed to take care of that child. This beautiful girl could be adopted by childless couple who would provide a decent life style for her.
@Mom2Goldens
@Mom2Goldens Жыл бұрын
@@bambinaforever1402 Notice how you said "many years ago". Money has changed drastically even in the last 10 years, rents are sky high and benefits pay pennies. Most people cannot live on what they are given, and if you get a job they cut you off the benefits. It is a vicious cycle. Very cruel of you to say something like "adopt her out" to a father who is clearly loving and has her best interests at heart. Disgusting, really.
@lianealbert7728
@lianealbert7728 Жыл бұрын
@@Mom2Goldens exactly….! I wonder if she thinks her three kids should have been adopted out to a childless couple just because she came across hard times. Sometimes having less and having a loving parent is better… but I wonder where his parents are. He said his life was good and things were easy and his parents spoiled him. I couldn’t let my granddaughter starve knowing there’s a pretty empty fridge….

Seriously, telling her daughter she doesn’t need and education or “anything she learns in school” while sitting in her pyjamas, skint and jobless is the single most hypocritical thing i’ve ever witnessed! Doesn’t she realise that had she got an education, used what she learned to get a good job, she wouldn’t be in dire straits now?! “I use my phone to add up” she commented…Give me feckin’ strength! 🙄😬🙏🏼 Edit: If she’s “got all the claire’s” whatever that’s supposed to mean, couldn’t she predict the lotto and start paying her own way in society?

I stayed in a 1 bedroom with my 3 children after my divorce in KY in 1980. It was a shack. A 3 room shack. No water no bathroom(outhouse) heated with wood and coal. It was primitive. There are people still living like that in eastern KY. I finally found a. 2 bedroom with at least water. Cold but inside water. Still an outhouse. I met a man and we married. I sent him to school and supported him while he went. He raised my children and we had 2 of our own. We are now divorced after our children were grown. His children weren't raised that way. We moved to Georgia shortly after our son was born and we're married 30 years. I stayed single and he remarried. He's now raising our granddaughter. Life 7s tough.

The best thing that YOU as a parent can give your kids is their independence. To do that, you have to encourage them to use manners (especially at the dinner table), stand tall, be proud and get an education. Teach them some common sense and respect. Plenty of people have done it in the past under much more extreme circumstances. History does repeat OVER and OVER but unfortunately, in a lot of families, instead of ensuring that your next generation is a bit better off, the parents are the children and making their youngsters life a misery.

Hi Nicole... Many years ago....1960 I think...my family and I (Very Royal!) emigrated to Australia... I was 7-ish..I guess, I loved it there... But we were very poor initially......there was not the job my Dad was promised...and we struggled for the first year. We lived in a garage that my Dad floor boarded out to make a living space.... but we made do...and we were happy. Our neighbours were great, and, as kids, we loved it. It would never have occurred to my parents to ask for State Help or benefits...they came to Australia to help Oz grow. It seems to me that that far too many simply believe that the State is the sole provider... of all things....This is unsustainable. As the UK is now realising, far too late. As thousands arrive one their shores ... the rejections of France and Europe. There will be detractors to my comments.... Well, I give you the classic two fingers. Not the Churchill man of Victory signal....quite the reverse. Take it or leave it.

Yeah I noticed that. My sister had a similar cyst right on top of her eyelid when she was in her teens it was really big. Mum took her to the hospital and they removed it, she only had to stay in hopital for a day or two. She was very self conscious of it plus I think it may have effected her eyesight as she got older. When they took it out they found it was a ball of skin and hair which they said over time may have increased in size. It really was a minor surgery, the scar can't be seen as they made the cut, right on the crease at the top of her eyelid. No ongoing issues.👍
