Benefits of Proraso shave soap

Proraso Green contains Glycerin, Menthol, Camphor and Eucalyptus. A combination that really cools the shaven skin.
Proraso Red contains Coconut Oil, Sandalwood, Glycerin, Cocoa seed butter, to give a rich warm smell and lather.
Proraso White contains Coconut Oil, Glycerin, Menthol, Citrus, Lemon, Thyme leaf, Camellia leaf extract and produces a rich lather that moisturises the skin perfectly. My skin is naturally dry, but i don't need any skin cream after shaving with this Proraso White.
All widely available on Ebay and the like and are cheap as chips.

have to agree with you John. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, yen for yen, the best value shaving soap around. I have all three. White for a really heavy beard growth, red for every day sort of thing and Green for summer months, the menthol is really refreshing on a hot day.

Yeah, you don't have spend a fortune on exotic soaps when Proraso will do the job perfectly well.

These are my three…Green, Red, and white. Been using them for years….tried more expensive soaps and creams….but I keep coming back to Proraso.

Yeah i have the same three and all are great value for money. I have yet to try the Blue Proraso.

Great proraso soaps, i have all three, red green and white and all have their own unique qualities. Cheap as chips as well. You don't have to spend a fortune.

You are welcome Elija. All three Proraso soaps are great and each have their own qualities. The green Proraso (which i used today) has a lovely creamy lather and generous Eucalyptus fragrence, the red is sandalwood and whits is extra creamy (Coconut Oil) for tough beards and week or 2 weeks old beards.

I love the Proraso shave soap, if only you could buy it in the US for less than $10. I hear that in Italy it's about $2. But still very economical.

Use distilled water to make lather instead of hard tap water. Makes much better lather.

@@pixsellpix there is also proraso yellow. Both of these come as creams. Available in my country in a huge tube that will last for months.

@@pixsellpix just search KZfaq for Proraso Blue and Priraso Wood & Spice aka Proraso Yellow. What I do is keep the big tube in the fridge next to commercial brick of Cella. Sleep walk over to the fridge in the morning with my lather bowl. Put a little dab in the bowl.

Hi Lei He JUn....Buy all three on ebay..cheap as chips and better than all i have tried over 40 years . I usually use Red for day to day, great shaving soap. For a slight change i like the menthol of the Green Proraso... however....when you have a really thick beard... a week beard plus... this is when the white Proraso comes in. You dont even need a moisturiser after white proraso. My recommendation is to get all three, red, green and white. Green for shaving every day (menthol) if you have to attend meetings and shite. Red for shaving every other day ( weekends) you don't need a moisturiser after red proraso. and white for when you cannt give a fuk and let your skin have a rest for a week and have a fuckin beard. I do this occasonally. I let my face have a rest the use the white, creamy Proraso and a straight razor...never a DE razor...always a straight razor. The Blue is like anise or licorice, so not in my list either, but there is one in a big tube (almost a pillow!) sold to barbers maybe, with a cypress and vetiver scent going on that has some decent likes. They all lather great but since i like to match a soap and splash, the sandalwood gets the nod. T

Oh right@@trunkerdixon ...never tried the blue. I can't imagine a licorice soap. I like the sandalwood and the Green gets the Green light as well. All three soaps are brilliant.

HERE IS AN EASY WAY TO DO IT MY FRIENDs Do any Pucks or bar Soaps out there? You can mix and match old Soaps? to fit in any Mugs or Cups? Like (Mitchells' Wool Fat or Arko Sticks. Just to name a few of them ?) Cut the bar soap up on a paper plate, pour the soap, shavings and chunks from your plate into a mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, microwave your soap and cups or mugs? put your paper plate under your cup in case it bubbles out of your cup? for a minute or so? If it foams up, STOP. The water keeps it from burning itself up. (DON'T OVER WATER YOUR SOAP??) Easy, does it? Let cool don't want to Crack the Mugs or Cups you're using? (You just want it to Congeal in your Mug or Cup') it is very hot and watery'''''. let it cool in PLACE'. after it cools, put it in a Sunny Window, until the Soap hardens? When using your soaps, use Dry Brush Less Water. It thickens the soap, making it easier to use on your face. (You can use any Hard Soaps You like??) Save your Money, spend it on your wife, don't listen to the shave Mafia. It saves me time and Money in these Inflationary Times. Your mileage may vary? Wheelchair Larry Happy New Year

No mate, no burns. It has a very gentle Eucalyptus Oil fragrance rather than a nasal spray type of menthol and is quite refreshing on a hot summer morning. Try it out, highly recommended, leaves you feeling fresh for the day ahead.😉
