I recently adopted a 7 month old female Bengal from the shelter. They need constant attention, they are very intelligent, they are quite vocal about everything and are pretty much just assholes. I love this cat.

I don't agree that the lowering of the cats head is a sign a submissiveness. My older cat kicks my younger cats ass by doing this. The younger goes for the neck, while my older ones goes for underneath and grabs hold and kicks the crap out of the younger one with hind legs. My younger cat is a bully and attacks the older one who is passive but will win. He proved it one day when he had finally enough of the attacks, I heard the fight start and then it went quiet. I looked and the younger one is laying on his back and the older one has him across the throat. Neither one was moving a muscle, no tail wags, just enlarged pupils and a blank stare. It didn't teach the younger one anything. He continues to bully the older one.

my cat was 25 when she passed away. she was so courageous it was unbelievable, never a trouble maker, but would never back down!! she would swipe dogs noses, watching the dogs back off. I love cats:) subbed, don't know how I got here, but entertaining:))

Probably for breeding. Freya was also used for breeding, so he probably doesn't want this kitten to be abused as well. The males are usually in worse health since the females need to be in good enough health to give birth.

Celeste Cosimini that shit needs to be cleaned up don’t normalize that... litter can home many parasites, bacteria and disease that can be harmful for the owner and the cat... gotta keep up good maintenance of the litter box as a responsible cat owner. We don’t just let our toilet bowls overflow and say ah fuck it, I don’t mind, this is a human room...

@@SonicFan147 It might work but probably only somewhat, unfortunately. Some kitties tend to get the litter between their paws and track it elsewhere far from the litter box. This room is probably made to be a room specifically for storage and for the cats to have personal space, it seems that way at least.

kingbucky6 That's because house cats aren't really that domesticated. They only evolved to live with us during the agricultural revolution, so they still have wild instincts left over. Meanwhile, the grey wolf evolved to be more capable of living amongst humans during the hunter-gatherer era of humanity. When we became agrarian about 5-10k years ago, dogs had already been an essential part of human life, so we usually feel sympathy for them, even if we don't need them for practical reasons.

Yes, along with wrapping the cats head to tail in duct tape. With their legs and tails pinned to their bodies, they are very calm indeed except at the mouth. Plus they can then just be rolled around the room as desired.

Your videos are so great - simple and well narrated and full of information! As fairly new cat owner (we rescued a 1.5yr old burmese 2 years ago), who has had to introduce our cat to a friends kitten for a few weeks, it's really interesting! At first we thought maybe things wouldn't work, because of hissing and avoidance, but we monitored closely and they eventually began to be comfortable around each other (although I wouldn't say friends... ). The more I think about it and the more videos from you I watch, the more happy I am with how things are going :)

That's cool sharing, thank you! These are treats, seeing more real/pure looking Bengal housecats. There are many bred out derivatives, good look here at the intensity of the main type, I hear they're quite active and industrious at being supremely CATTY at home all day, if alone you'll expect to discover shreds of t.p. etc. Drawn out all over the place!😲🤣😜🙄🤭🤯😂😬😇💞♥️

We recently introduced a 9 week old male kitten to our brood - we have 2 adult cats already - and basically followed these videos and it worked out very well. Thank you for these....they helped so much and after a week our two adult fur babies get on so well with our new additon to the family! 😸😻😺

My little kitten who is very tiny likes to assert her dominance on our older larger cats 😂when we adopted a new one it took her weeks before she liked him, she would not back down and neither would he. Now they love cuddling and playing with each other.
