Bengaluru Second Airport: Infra Minister Patil Directs Officials To Conduct Feasibility Study | ಅಷ್ಟದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ 2ನೇ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಏರ್ ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಗೆ ಪ್ಲ್ಯಾನ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೈಟೆಕ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸ್ತಿದೆ.. ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ಮೇಲುಸ್ತುವಾರಿಗೆ ವಿದೇಶಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ನೇಮಕಮಾಡಿರೋದು ವಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಕೆಂಗಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

Blore airpot is useless for ktaka ppl Need to have in b/w tumkur & blore for ktaka & more over ppl who are not from blore will avoid going into blore traffic. Existing airpot was done so that politicians can increase their land valve

Second Airport for Bangalore: Good to learn that identification for the site is in progress. Purely from distance point of view, either Dobbaspet or Harohalli looks equally convenient. However, what is important factor for future of Bangalore is developing a counter magnet city, which has the potential to discourage further growth and congestion of Bangalore, as we go along. Hence, attention should be given, whether it is Tumkur or Mysore, which have the potential to become alternative city to Bangalore, with the positioning of the second international airport near them. Availability of sufficient dependable water for such a future city, either at Tumkur or Mysore, is a very important factor to look. Infact, that should drive the location, in identification of the site for the second Bangalore airport.
