Can't believe my favorite Audi is an SUV. Used to be the RS7, but the 2nd gen just doesn't do it for me. This does. They nailed it.

I just sold my Audi Q8 for the SQ8 and I absolutely love the SQ8. It just feels different and the sound that it makes when I turn it on and when I accelerate is music to my ears.

SQ8 is a decent value. $20k over Q8 gets you over 40% increase in HP and 50% torque, plus 4wheel steering and air suspension. RSQ8 is another $20k with about 20% increase over SQ8.

I think the SQ8 is one of Audi's best SUVs. I don't think you even need the RS Q8 with that 591 HP, because 500 HP is plenty for this beast of a vehicle. If you want a Lamborghini Urus, a Bentley Bentayga, or a Porsche Cayenne for less money, this SQ8 is the way to go, since they're all based on the same platform (typical VW Group)

I was able to test drive an Audi RSQ8 and the Lambo Urus back to back on the same day on the same roads. There is definitely a difference in how they drive. The Urus is a total different animal. People that say they are the same need to drive them back to back. I have a SQ8 because it’s a good balance for me because I have other fun cars to drive but I would love to upgrade to a Urus someday.

My concern with Audi- and many others- is how often your eyes have to leave the road to look down at the touch screen areas to execute diff functions (HVAC, radio, etc...).

So creepy around 7:15 when u show the dash the clock was at 4:36 and i checked my realtime where im at, and it was also 4:36

My wife drives the RSQ8. White with the carbon option. She loves it, but hated the rims. I got her some Gloss black Vossen HF-7. It looks super sharp now

That’s exactly how I would have that model exterior and the interior color combination in that exact model. Crazy it’s over a $100k, but hey new cars are getting expensive nowadays.

If you looks at the specs on Google sq8 vs rs q8 they are SO SO SO SO similar the only thing I see imo is the grill difference/ steering wheel I like the grill on the rs but overall the rs has a chubbier suv look

I love my 2022 SQ8 in all Black. All the interior is the same I think for the most part. . I just hate the two toned look with any other colour . Looks tacky in my opinion 👎 went with Vossen wheels too. all black . Don’t like those oem wheels very much either . Wish the exhaust tips would come black when you get the black optics package. That’s a big bummer and with the fake tips. Those need to be changed . The MMI system kinda acts funny sometimes too. Other then those minor things . We love our SQ8.. it’s so high tech. I don’t think this guy even touch on a lot of cool things that we found. Ion defuser for the a/c and an internal air freshener that comes out through the a/c . It’s sweet . two different scents . Summer and winter . The heads up display is awesome with your speed and nav. It’s not distracting at all. If you didn’t notice too the rear doors control both rear windows and shades. The back window also has a manual shade screen that you can pull up . The doors close on their own if you don’t close it all the way . They have little motors in them to close it incase you don’t . All stuff that’s going to cost $$$ when it breaks is how I see it . Lol. I still Love it though . I have the massage seats as well. Very nice for long drives and I snowboard so it’s nice when you’ve had a full day of riding . It’s one of the reasons we bought a sport suv . We have dogs and I like it for long travels and towing . So when I don’t need it to tow and want to rip Around I just drop It into dynamic. And now it’s a super fun sports car. Absolutely love it . So comfortable And fun to drive . I love seeing the faces of my friends and family that I’ve let drive it . Just lights them up . It always puts a smile On my face when I get into it and get to drive this amazing machine . Just Love it .

Take it to a VW dealer that authorizes apr tunes and will tune it for you(keep warranty) and you’re a trackhawk with luxury!!!!

dont get me wrong i like driving the sq8 and the q8 rs is a powerhouse but i still prefer to drive the rs7/rs6 performance models,they mapped differently and dont wiegh 27 tonns

Too bad Audi is still deleting key components (like phone chargers) in their 2023 models. The salesman here just ignores a the issue but it really is a pain for a $100k vehicle. Anyone out there know what other components are missing for 2023?

In My Eyes, I See The S/RSQ8 is The SUV Version Of The S/RS7.

You can't drive at 27mph and comment a car is quiet. Every car is quiet. The real noise test is at highway speeds of 70-75mph. Do the windows leak through wind noise? Tires pick up a lot of road noise? is the cabin quiet in general? My 2023 Palisade is super quiet below 60mph, but once you hit 70+, the budget factor kicks in and you can tell why luxury SUVs are quieter at high speeds.

After owning one for a year, the SQ8 is as much as you need. The letter R is for showing off in parking lots, but for every day use the SQ8 for the money is one of the greats, it reminds me of the much loved B5 RS4 AVANT of the past…..simply stupendous in every way. Audi’s strength is still the QUATTRO SYSTEM, the difference between 519 hp in a Ferrari and an Audi is simple, Audi can actually put that HP to the pavement through all 4 wheels instead of 2 (or more typically 1 for the educated) no smoking tires just solid mind bending acceleration.

Audi has done a great job with the SQ8.
