@@JacksonWalter735I learned by taking truck driving lessons at a trucking school in a hino box truck with a manual transmission for my cdl. Now I don’t have a restriction on my license. But you don’t need to pass a road test in a manual to drive a manual passenger vehicle like this for your regular license.

the flat 4 sits low in the engine bay so that it creates a low center of gravity, giving the car its precise handling. the flat pistons on each side even out the weight. any other engine in there wouldve been too heavy or too big to fit. i agree with the turbo, though, i also wanted that for this new gen, but that meant it would be better than the supra.. and that couldnt be, so rightfully so, the 86 stays N/A.

I have a 2022. They look the same. In the newer model years, the manuals have some safety features the autos have. Power is the same

For 2024 you can get the $1,500 performance package which includes front and rear Brembo brakes which include larger discs and four piston front calipers and two piston rear, and Sachs Dampers. An absolute steal IMO.

Thats a selling feature for me. Its a back to basics sports car. It doesnt need a 21 inch ipad that runs Clash of Clans. The buttons, simple UI, ect are perfect

it's got a manual option, only reason it doesn't have a turbo is because it would be competition for their Supra. And GR86 is a "back to basics" type of car.

I have read this engine can get 400+ HP... of course it takes a lot of work but possible

Negative, Ghost Rider. Paddle shifters give the full control of when you want to shift and keep the feeling of being directly connected to the engine and the wheels, without having to tap-dance with the pedals. The only time mine isn't in Manual mode is when it's in Park or Reverse. You want to keep your manual transmission superiority complex, that's fine. But when you make a blanket statement saying that buying an Auto 86/BRZ is a mistake, you're just being dumb.
