A great video. Is there any news on whether the train is still on course to be going all the way through to Denia by the end of the year? When I was there in Nov/Dec the line was functioning to Teulada and I took my bike on it and went down to Moraira which is lovely and then to the Moorish town of Xabia, which is interesting. I'm looking forward to the line being reopened as that northern end of the Costa Blanca is really great and even if you do nothing else the train goes through good scenery.

Hi Chris, I can't find any news at all on it, but I do know it's now as far as Gata. I'm desperate to have a train ride all the way to Denia! but can't be doing with all the changing on to buses etc lol x 🚋❤️☀️🇪🇦

@@benidormandbeyond2445 Thanks a lot for looking. I've only ever been when you have to disembark and get the replacement bus service and so I am looking forward to a through train. If it is going to Gata that's well on the way. I'll meet you in Denia for a tostada when I'm there in December ciao 🤣

Hi Barry, yes you can.. the train station is up in the higher part of the Old Town off Avenida Beniarda, and can be reached by local bus number 1. Trains/trams go half hourly to Alicante and the journey takes about 75 minutes. The city is beautiful so it's well worth it! 🚋🇪🇦😊👍🏻☀️

Alicante is beautiful so much to see and dont forget the castle of Santa Barbara, there is a lift up to help from the seaside

Good to hear the lift is back in operation, it was closed post Covid for some time,as I found out to my cost! 🤣🤣
