The reason there were lot's of trashes around is there was a huge flood that flooded Imphal recently and trashes were brought by the water, and government is not taking up much actions to clean it up.

Bro you can go to West-Bengal A lot of places are there to visit. In North Bengal Wildlife Sanctuaries like Jaldapara National park, Gorumara wildlife sanctuary, Buxa tiger reserve These are all 2 to 3 hours from Siliguri. You can do forest safaris, Elephant safaris etc. Historical places like Coochbehar palace and many more is nearby. In Malda many historical places are also there. Hillstations like Darjeeling is there which is bit crowdy. Apart from that you can trek to Sandakaphu which is in Nepal border, an altitude of 3800m around. Places like Phalut, Lava, Lolegaon, Kalimpong, Kurseong, Mirik, Takdah, Tinchuley, Tonglu etc. are very nice hillstations in North Bengal. In South Bengal Murshidabad-Hazarduari palace is there. Kolkata you may have visited. Mangroove forest like Sundarban is there, biggest in the world. Then sea beaches like Digha, Gangasagar, Mandarmani etc. are there. Puruliya district is there where you can find Chotanagpur plateau, a group of small hills, waterfalls etc. Shantiniketan is there, the place of Rabindranath Tagore. West-bengal is not only a state. It is mini India. Only state to have Plateau, Mountain, Sea, Historical places, Monuments, Temples everything.

Manipur is the safest place in India for tourist. They don't pretend saying you can go out its safe out there. They'll tell you straight whether it is good or bad. Later, as the erstwhile Kingdom got progressively weakened (due to multi-factorial "issues!") around early-mid 1800's, the British simultaneously started importing more n more khongjais from the southside aka chin n sagaing regions of burma/myanmar; and implanted in the unadministered hills (the so-called "Selected Area Development Administrative Region" aka SADAR Hills aka the present-day Kangpokpi Dist.) surrounding the Manipur Valley (to act as a "buffer-zone" to protect the kingdom against the frequent raids by the northern Angami tribes) in the last 200-300 yrs only...and thus CREATED the MOST HORRIFIC FAULTLINES ever in the history of Manipur... HOWEVER, recently, those "indigenous/native" Manipuri Kukis started importing more and more of their kind and NOW they've started claiming this land as theirs. The British intentionally and wilfully trifurcated the Kuki-Zo-Chin's ORIGINAL HOMELAND aka Chin state of 🇲🇲 + Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 + Lushai hills aka Mizoram of India 🇮🇳, politically between and amongst those 3 countries (🇲🇲 🇧🇩 and 🇮🇳), as a retribution for their failed uprising/revolt/rebellion (1917-19) NOT anglo-kuki war (instigated by Sanajaoba, a meitei, to overthrow Maharaj Churachand, a meitei king, by promising reduced house taxes) against the British's policy (for recruitment of kukis as laborers/porters under manipur labor corps) during WW1 (1914-18). As a centrist Meitei, I wholeheartedly support and endorse the creation of a Separate Administration or a New Sovereign Nation/Country, specifically and exclusively for the Kuki-Zo-Chin people, aka Kukiland/Zale'ngam/Zogam, comprising of and consolidating the Chin state/hills of 🇲🇲, the Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 and the Lushai hills aka Mizoram of India 🇮🇳.
