Does the uvi bundle work in other daws as well? Or does it somehow only work in fl studio? Will I need my image line account or fl studio serial # to activate the uvi software?

@@EricJohnson-fh8zj You need an image-line account to purchase. You can use the plugins with any DAW, you are not limited to FL Studio to use it, just the restriction on where to purchase.

I love how the horror one showcases so much how sound effects do more of a heavy work on horror sound design. Literally just the bias of the sound effects makes it so only the first option is actually something you would see in an actual product.

The $199 UVI bundle is a LOT of stuff for $199. I really wish the UVI downloader which uses bit torrent, wasn't so awful though.

Really great video!! I'm totally with you when it comes to Kontakt. The new version 7 is a laughing stock with just huge useless graphics cluttering the screen. It's a shame, it used to be a good product but now it's like they've never even seen for example the excellent arpeggiators in UVI. (EDIT: have to put my comment in perspective: UVI Workstation Arp doesnt seem to be able to send out MIDI data, while this is no problem with Kontakt. Too bad!)

I just watched 67 year old movie "The trouble with Harry" by this english son of a green grocer, with music from this columbia workshop conductor, since it has the same setting as your movie scene here. After comparison I must say, your movie, despite being 67 years ahead, has still room for improvement.

Some of the early decrescendos were louder than the crescendos it seemed like, that threw me off a little bit but Ben I think ur about the only content creator that I’ve seen actually use those words. I know you know what they mean so I’ll prolly end up thinking I shoulda just waited till end of video to post hah.

Btw, both you and Venus Theory imo have separated yourselves from the rest of the pack of content creators. Even tho this could be some degree of a review video I like hearing that you’re shifting focus to other type of content. To keep making review videos would kinda be a bit of a waste of y’alls brain meat. Plenty of other ppl can handle the reviews, I appreciate you and VT cause y’all make people think and y’all provoke people to start thinking less about all the noise and more about things worthwhile.

Very cool demonstration of the power of music/sound design in scenes. That bundle seems like a great deal if you are mainly a FL-studio producer. I own FL-studio, but I found it a bit weird so I ended up using Reaper for my little forays into music/sound design. Ah well, good for the FL-studio producers!

I'm a little confused by the language stating this bundle is made especially for FL Studio. I'm an Ableton user. Will these instrument libraries still work on my DAW? Are they just VSTs or is there some kind of FL optimization?

The bundle is a special offer for FL Studio customers- So if you also have FL Studio, you can get it. If you do not, you can still buy the products without the discount.

Did you have to have your imageline account or FL serial # to get or activate the uvi bundle deal? I can't imagine it only works in fl studio. I'm not using FL hardly ever these days but I'm thinking of getting the bundle to use in my other daws

You have to be a registered FLS user to get the bundle at the bargain price, but the standard VSTs will work in any DAW.

It's all Benn's fault ... after many many years i reinstalled FL Studio :D :D :D And what can i say ... after using Live for many years i got lazy. In relearning FL Studio i found completly new ways of doing tings. Was not so productive for a long time :D And btw., FL Studio came a long way!

Very good exercise. Third one sounded more professional than others mostly because music and sfx should go along with a story. You show objective action and there is no justification for music. Here sounds of footsteps and other sfx ambients with just a little music feels more natural.
