Defensive highlights of the former top Middleweight contender.
For questions or requests Email at: hanzagod@mail.com
Bennie Briscoe - Was the quintessential Philadelphia boxer. "Bad" Bennie fought from 1962 to 1982, and retired with a career record of 66 wins (53 by KO) 24 losses and 5 draws. Briscoe was a top-rated Middleweight contender during the 1970s, unsuccessfully challenging for the World Title on three different occasions. His record reads like a "who's who" list of prominent fighters from his era.

One of the best boxers to never win a world title (in my opinion.) Even though he was known for his toughness and relentless style, Briscoe was adept at slipping punches... If only he could have countered more after the slips he'd have been an even greater fighter.

Dubbed: " Battle of da Baldies". It's recognizable he utilizes the " Philly Shell". Same as Joe Frazier .

@@edwardmurdoch5070 Mechanical is talking about Bennie's first fight against Monzon, the one that happened in Argetina which was declared a draw.
