I was in Wanggdue Phodrang in the year 1968, 69,70 and 71 students of the Wanggdue Phodrang English medium primary school.at the age most probably 13. remember our head master was from South India .another 1 assistant teacher were nepali speaking the than Indian who taught as English with another Bhutanese Drukpa Teacher. One Dongkha and art teacher also were there who taught as Dongkha. I learned little Dzongkha I still can count 1to 20 in Dongkha but cant write. May be because most of the teachers and students were speaking English only except Dzongkh teacher.who never spoken English with children. In the year 1972 I went to Thimphu and stay with my elder sister and sister and sister in lawtill the year 1974 I came down to Phuntsholing and work with the Chhukha Hydel Project in 1975 I went to Paro Bhutan and start working with Teacher training centre under Swiss advisor miss Verena Ritter unicef representative. from Zurich Switzerland. Until 1978.inthe year 1978 June I came to My country Nepal and struggle some months locking for job.Inthe year 1979 January 15th I got employment with tht Dharan Dhankuta Road Project's until 1989 December. Within thi period I have got married and settled permanently at Dharan Nepal and I bought land to build a house were presently I am staying and writing this message. Since I had spent my childhood in Bhutan.I love Bhutan too. at present I am wrting a novel in nepali version name is Nawami which is near about to comleted I am typing the manuscript in the computer I have complete.typing about 200 pages.I still have to type about 300 pages. If I remain well . next year it will go to the press . today I am verymuch happy to see Thimphuafter 42 year of leaving Bhutan.Inthe nove Ihave not included any thing that bhutanese government prohibited.the novel is based on my own life it is also bsed on love story . since I was just a child during staying in Bhutan I don't know much about the Bhutanese law. till the time this goes to the press. I Will find out if there is any unlawful thing in my book.

Ravi G Namaste. The roads were pretty torn up when we were in Bhutan 18 months ago, so it was a lot of stop and go traffic. If you have an SUV with an automatic transmission, driving yourself would be fine (though possibly tiring). Otherwise hire a local driver (but insist on a vehicle with an automatic -- the driver we had was nice, but he could not drive a manual transmission smoothly, so it made the ride very uncomfortable).
