Well back when i was a child my mom would not let my sister and i trick or treat because of needles in candy so i would say maybe 15 is good age to stop trick or treat.

When I was young, my mom, grandma and I would go-to Rims Edge orchard for fresh apples and grandma would buy me a fresh made caramel apple. Mom told me I had to wait till we got home but grandma had wet wipes so I could have my apple without getting the car sticky

I would take my children trick or treating but I wouldn't let them eat any of the candy because I would take their candy to the hospital and have their candy xrayed to make sure that there were no needles and drugs in their Halloween candy
