Love my Beolit 12. At night bedroom listening, I plug it into regular main power and charge my phone with it so both are fully charged in the morning. Then with the full battery in the day I plug a line in from the TV for great sound, voices are especially crisp and clear. The battery lasts all day. 12 years old and it still looks pristine other then some wear around the buttons and the battery is still good. And I like the little compartment door on the back, you can run all the slack cable from the USB so it's stored in there as you use it rather than hanging loose

The Beolit 17 is one of my favourite speakers. I found out it does in fact put out true stereo from the two front tweeters, if you have a mono switch in your music app (eg Poweramp) you can verify this. I've never quite figured out how to keep it turned on reliably. Sometimes it turns off after 15 mins, even when plugged in to mains, sometimes it stays on. You used to be able to switch it on from the app but that no longer works and neither do the EQ settings if it's in line-in mode.

I like the beolit's but the only way the charger on top of the beolit 20 makes any sense at all to me is if it's plugged in all the time and on all the time honestly. Great video non the less!

Once you have paired the Beolit 20 and installed the B&O app on your Android/iOS device, you can pair your Beolit 20 on another bluetooth device like a Mac/PC having no B&O app and simply turn on bluetooth on your Android/app to use the B&O app and control sound even if the speaker is removed from the Android/iOS bluetooth pairing list. It works again if you install the B&O app on another Android/iOS device and use your B&O account even if you don't pair the speaker to the latter (only bluetooth turned on). The Beolit and the B&O app seem to use new bluetooth protocols and device signatures

I’m very happy with this device. One slight issue though. I’m having to go to Bluetooth settings and tap on my Beolit 20 to connect (it connects without further steps as it is already paired). I’d like my iPhone to auto-connect my Beolit 20, everytime it is in bluetooth range. Is there a way to set this up? Btw, my Beolit is always on as it is plugged in and both devices have bluetooth enabled at all times.

Just dipped my toe in the B&O eco system with a beoplay A2 active, super impressed and thinking about this unit next. Ps I've made the A2 multi room utilising Roon and an old raspberry pi as an end point.

Hi Firstly, I don't think it is possible to adjust the EQ of the line input. I know you can change the settings in the app and it will respond visually but I have never noticed this to change the sound with the line input as it does with the bluetooth sound. This is, I believe, because a processor in the beolit 17 adjusts the soundwave of the file, not the ratio of gain between the different drivers. With the line input, the beolit has no access to anything digital which it can manipulate, only analogue signals. That said, the volume can be controlled. Please correct me if you know I am wrong on this. Secondly, I have never discovered this always on feature and can find nothing about it online. How have you activated this? I have two beolit 17s of which I am an assured advocate for use with both bluetooth and line-in with a high quality DAC.

The Beolit 20 is a hell of a great product. I just dont find it as attractive as the other products in its portable size range. Its not bad and its not ugly, It is actually nice, but just not as attractive as the others. For instance, the Beosound 1 has that acoustic lens that gives it a great look and sound. The M5 is beautiful and also sound great.

Can you use the Beolit 20 over cinch as a tv speaker? Does it have a delay like the Beosound Level? Thanks for your answer.

hello. I have just found your site. i have 2 beolite 17. when i bought them i connected them using the phone app. they acted like a full rich stereo sound. However I have since moved house...and they will not reconnect at the new address. the app just says they wont connect. no help on the site. i have updated the app. but still they wont connect. help.
