Hi. Thanks a lot. My belt was almost liquid. But got everything cleaned and the new belt replaced. Works perfect !

First of all: Tanks so much for this video. It took the Edge out of my difficulty expectation. :) The mechanism was in some kind of Limbo, so I had to manually turn the big wheel into some position. Works like a charm now. :)

How did you pull out the Cassette compartment completely?

Thanks for the video. I've replaced the best, which was almost liquified. After replacing the belt, I can rewind etc. But it still doesn't play. Does anyone have an idea on what could be wrong?

Thank you for this! Can you tell me the belt size, if you remember? I have a guy to do the repair for me. He has belts on hand so if I can avoid sending away for one that's my preference. Thanks a lot!!

Hi, thanks a lot for your video !But...is only decreasing the pulley the trick when the cassette is not running ?I have 2 ouvertures with both the same problem: I hear it clicking when operating the tape function keyes, but no movement.The belt is in place and when I manually turn the grey wheel, both capstains are turning.Can I somehow check if the motor is running at all ?

you can see the capstan turning. My belt was not broken but worn. Just replacing the belt solved the problem.

hi, thank you for the video. I was wondering if you could please show me the cords that come with the 2500 type 6203lL I have the system and I'm struggling to find the chords and the schematics

Nice work! I am looking at a slightly different model...the deck is identical I believe....I have 12V on the motor and no rotation by the motor. But there are 2 other wires and not sure if either could stop the motor even with 12VDC on the motor. Any suggestions?

The motor (MMI-6H2LWKI) is a brushless motor. It has 4 wires. I had a similar problem. It may be that the drive mechanism is locked. Then the motor will shut down. After replacing the belt, you should alsways rotate the left flywheel as shown in the video at 3:50. It should rotate freely. If not, you will have to apply a gentle rotating torque to the left flywheel until you hear a click. Therafter the magnetic head is withdrawn and the drive mechanism is no longer blocked. The initial test after final assembly should be done first without insering a cassette. I hope this helps.

Are those flashing lights the proximity sensors for the glass doors, picked up by the camera?

Yes those are the doors infra red sensors. I have the Ouverture as well and my tape is broken but was told it cannot be repaired :-(

Can someone explain to me how exactly extract tape deck from Beosound? Have you found any video tutorial?

kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h8CHmclzp7_FYmg.html ...this video is kind of try an error (he tried to put the belt aroound both big metal wheels which is wrong) .. but in combination with this video here it worked for me.
