Gutes Video, vor einigen Jahren hatte ich den Riementausch gemacht ohne eine solche Anleitung - und prompt den ganzen Seilzugmechanismus gelöst. Super Gau natürlich, aber mit viel Geduld brachte ich es wieder zusammen. Die Türen funktionierten dann einige Monate wieder ganz passabel, aber mittlerweile ist wieder alles blockiert. Ich glaube man muss doch den gesamten mechanischen Mechanismus überholen damit es länger hält. Sehr schade - ich hänge wirklich an dem Teil. Einer Werkstatt, die das professionell und mit Garantie instandsetzt, würde ich einiges zahlen.

Hi Michael. Ich würde mal bei den örtlichen kleine HiFi Fachhändlern anfragen, die haben oft angeschlossene Werkstätten. Hier funktioniert noch alles seit April 2004 - Wird allerdings nur 1-2 mal pro Woche genutzt. Grüße.

Hi, just search on ebay "beosystem 2500 belt" - you should get them for just a few bucks.

it is a round belt like an O-ring the size is 45 mm diameter with 2 mm thickness @@yvind786

Thanks for this - very helpful! I'm trying to understand how the glass doors come off. The repair manual says to pull it out away from the system at the top right corner, opposite the "lock." Does it just unsnap or something? I'm not clear on where to pull. The door seems fragile so I'm a bit concerned to pull hard on it. Any advice you can give on this?

Jeah, it's just snapped in. You can see the slider where the glass is attached to at 00:42 at the edge over the CD... Just gently unsnap it.

Kurze Nachfrage: bei meiner 2500 öffenen sich die Türen normal flink - schließen aber nicht mehr so gut (es quietscht). Deine Expertise: Gummis tauschen oder sind es doch die Drähte, die die Türen wieder verschließen? Und wo bekomme ich Ersatz-Gummibänder? Würde mich freuen, nicht allzu dumm zu sterben mit meiner 1991er Kiste im Grab. Lieben Gruss aus Berlin.

Hi Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, ist der Mechanismus der selbe. Also Gummis tauschen. Ich hab damals einfach auf eBay gesucht.

it happened to me too. I could manage to reinstall the wires, although it is really tricky. Please refer exactly to the description from the service B&O Beosound Ouverture service-manual Chapter 5-15. There is a sketch on how the wires are installed. You can google this manual and download it as a free pdf file. Good luck!
