which way were the speakers facing? if they are upright on their sides they will go in a different mode and out of singular stereo.

@@Mikipedia landscape is the only way they will stand unaided and have a left and a right side. On a wall in portrait the tweeters and bass units are stacked. On their back you get more of an all round dispersion.

I finally selected a new Android phone with Android 14 installing as I transferred apps from my old phone to the new phone. Magically the apps got updated so the B&O app got the latest update, not just the version I was stuck on on the older phone. The Axiim Link app for my WiSA transmitter did not get installed. it has been removed from Google Pay Store although is still on Apple store for iOS. I was offered the Beta by Axiim and it found 8 of my six speakers and only played back on the front right. Eventually I found an archive with the old app on it. That worked although my new Android OS refused to install the "out of date for an old operating system app". So after more than 4 months I get to see the low latency 3.5 mm analogue input. Using this removed multi-room and the speakers can not be paired as the wireless link has a 300ms lag. Using a stereo 3.5 mm to stereo 3.5mm cable to a single unpaired Level left comes out on the right and right on the left. I used KZfaq left/right tests for this. Headphones work correctly. The cable is correctly wired for other analogue speakers to work correctly but the stereo in both my Beosound Levels are the wrong way around. Stand them upside down on the volume control. I played back a number of "talking head" videos with some being okay and others maybe some lag noticeable but still acceptable. So the low latency feature does work. Being a earphone socket on my laptop volume level is limited but still scope in the controls of the Level (app or on the speaker). I then connect up two Beosound Levels, unpaired. My cable for this is a 3.5 mm stereo plug to two RCA phono sockets. I then plug in two RCA phone plugs with a stereo 3.5mm plug to go into the Beosound speaker. Left and right channel of the 3.5 mm plug are wired to the single RCA phono plug. There is a small time delay when the audio starts for the speakers to wake up or switch to the input. The delay is different on each speaker but then they are together. The latency is low enough that both speakers are in synch. The headphone output is lower than wi-fi inputs so the default 40% is low. As the speakers are working as two mono speakers increasing the volume has to be done for each speaker ether selecting them in the app or on the top panel which seems okay to do and set both to the same level needed. Really annoying that the stereo is incorrect when using a single Level speaker but otherwise the test is successful. you can use a pair of Mozart speakers to watch video with lip synch from a TV or computer but volume control is not seamless with limited output control on the laptop and each speaker having to be separately controlled. Do I do a 4.0 surround system test now with Emerge as rears? I have done the test before and had found the rear speakers would switch away from the line in after a time with no signal and not switch back and matching volume control had to be balanced on four separate speakers. At least now they would be in synch. It is possible to have the app control six multi-channels but then B&O would have a surround sound system starting at 5x Emerge or a seventh of the cost of 5xBeolab 8 plus WiSA transmitter set up. One more "downside" to the low latency input. The sound quality is not as good. Just a feeling and expected (or am I assuming) because the low latency drops optimal and DSP smarts to being low latency.

@@geraldmcmullon2465 yes I know, but in portrait mode they are much more a beolab due to the mode change. I am fairly sure for stereo pairing that's how they are meant to hang for optimal results.
