You know why you can't startle me at 0:40, my friend? Because I saw this movie a long, long time ago when I was young...

We watched this in English class and I loved everyone’s reactions when they realized Angelina Jolie was Grendel’s mom
@KevinOoviedo133 жыл бұрын
why did u guys watch this in class? lol
@dylantennant65943 жыл бұрын
@@KevinOoviedo13 My class watched it as well. Most of everyone was too bored (I don't know how, I think this movie is awesome, as well as the poem) and they didn't really care.

My class watched it too when we read the Saga. The uncultured swine payed no attention.
@dylantennant65943 жыл бұрын
@@HaiyeeeTrololol Let me guess, they gave the excuse "Why do I need to know this I am never going to need it" bullcrap (thats how my class reacted, same with Sir Gaiwan, Hamlet, and pretty much everything before the victorian era, then they either wanted to read god damn Jane Eyre or something modern like Hunger Games). Morons.

I agree because she wasn't shouting or anything like that. The men I could understand because they were being obnoxious and shouting but her songs were very soothing so I don't get why this disturbed Grendel.

that was a cool video but it should have shown the part where he kills the grendel. i love in the movie how hopeless and fruitless it seems, for a man to face the grendel...and i found myself not even believing beowulf could do it...thats how convincing the movie is...then it is so epic when he does it! when everyone wakes up to see him holding grendel's arm...so awesome!
