I think there's no doubt that TOGETHER Berbatov and Keane played their best football. It was a case of the whole partnership being greater than the sum of the individual parts. There seemed to be a special kind of chemistry and innate understanding between them and it's not been found with any other combination since then. As much as I'd like to think it could one day be repeated, I fear that it is now lost forever.

We have the money, a completely new back room staff. He has the class and desire to win silverware. The culmination of his career was in United. He pulled off some of the most impressive moves and goals there. However, I think the time in Tottenham was the most special one. Shame that I'll always remember trekking up to Boro, where he refused to play and wouldn't even warm up near us away fans as he knew he'd get stick. He was one of the best in the world at Tottenham but is in his comfort zone at Utd.

Great player. He's easily got the best 1st touch i have ever seen and i've had a season ticket at spurs since i was 10. Best game he played for spurs was the 6-4 against Reading he ran the show. Also some great goals missing, notably against Charlton and PSV. Good vid though. Still what he did to spurs will never be forgotten, good and the bad.

I'm an Everton fan but must admit I really do love Berbatov. World class player, just a shame he isn't the same with United. Maybe its because he does better being the 'better player of the team' instead of being surrounded by World class players at United. Well I think its fairly obvious you guys got the best out of him, I was really looking forward to the signing because I knew what he was capable of, and what he can still do. I kind of wish for his sake he stayed at spurs cos he was really at home there and its horrible to see such a class player having to face what he hasat United. guys,no one said berbatov is not a top class player. is just people question his work rate and his influence in big games-especially in europe. the goals he scores can be fantastic sometimes,but he needs to be more influential in big games,and stop showing frustration towards his teammates. he was at his prime when he was at tottenham no doubt.

@natsiel good comment man, now i dont say this only because im bulgarian, but Berbatov was treated like shit this season at manu.. ironic enough his best season there.. i dont understand why hernandez replaced berbatov at some point during the season and moreover i dont understand why in the CL final hernandez played 90mins for united and didnt do shit while berbatov was left out of the group for the match.. at least in Tottenham he got the respect he deserved
