Picked up one of these on sale near me for $599.00 without the muzzle break in 6.5 CM. Went in to look at. Tika T3 Lite. They only had them in 300WSM a good caliber, but I already have a .270WSM, HAVE TO TAKE out a second loan on the house when I can FIND the cartridge. Don’t need another WSM. I actually got about 1/4 the way home and thought I will never see that price on a new Bergara again, so I turned around and bought the rifle. Glad I did. Can’t find one below $899.00 anywhere now. At 100 yards it shoots sub MOA.

I have the Wilderness Hunter in 6.5CM and like it. I put a Primary Arms 4-16x with ACSS 6.5CM reticle. I’m not the best precision rifle shooter as I mostly focus on defense/tactical shooting but that setup makes me look good.

All three Tikkas are dialed in for the season. All three were sub moa with factory ammo on their first range trips. It's hard me to consider anything else near their price range.

The Creedmoor is awesome for steel and paper, however, I have some friends and acquaintances that (used) the 6.5 to hunt with, and saw them lose more deer and elk than with any other caliber, with 143 grain. 1 friend drew a coveted trophy elk tag, and shot a 400 inch class bull at 150 yards, broadside. The bull fell, and got back up and they never found it. He drew blood and his $12,000 elk hunt was over. He and probably a dozen other friends no longer even own the creedmoors . My un professional suggestion is to not think these things are for long range hunting. Keep them at reasonable distances

I hear ya man but myself and the guys in my circle have dropped deer and elk with the 6.5 creed, stopped them cold some maybe got 40-50 yards after getting hit.

Now for elk I would suggest 300 meters and in for the full force of the rounds energy

I tried one a while back didn’t like the trigger much but I still kinda liked the rifle I’m gonna be getting another bolt looking at 300 win mag just haven’t made a decision yet

I have the exact same rifle in 6.5 creed and it's a half inch at 100 yards and I bought it because of this video and I appreciate it mine has a home it's not going anywhere

I broke down and bought this exact same rifle in 6.5 creed because of your review and I couldn't be happy with it 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards with several different factory loads and I can't wait to work up a hand load for it and try to get it down to a 1/4 Inch at 100 yards thanks for the videos

Look at stockys stocks vg2 carbon and you then have what is a “crest” style rifle that is light weight.

Kinda want it with a box mag any thoughts on box mag verse internal? The Wilderness Terrain has it, a cheek riser and qd cups along with traditional sling points but its like 2 pounds heavier, no thanks to that.

I like box mags myself, but for hunting the internal is nice less snag area pushing through brush.

I want this or the Wilderness Terrain in a .308 as my first hunting/target rifle. Which scope is this? Would you recommend a 4-12 scope as a good magnification range for a hunting/target crossover setup?

It's a great gun I would suggest a Vortex viper 3-15 great for hunting and reaching out.

Just curious, you said the rifle weighs seven and a half pounds, with your scope it weighs eight pounds. What scope, ring and mount combo are you using that weighs only eight ounces?

Very cool glad it helped, I havnt gotten any brass scratches in mine, might stop for you after break in period if not bergara is pretty good to deal with, thankyounfor watching brother

Mine does and it's from sharp edges on the feed ramp this should smooth out overtime

I think the Wilderness Ridge has a spiral bolt, the Wilderness Hunter has smooth (non-spiral) bolt

Not anyones problem but mine right? But i shot 1 round. First bore sighted, then put the bolt in, shot. Now i couldnt tell you about the muzzle break, if its in tact or blew up, my threads are fine. But my Muzzle break is gine with the wind.

@@furyianman5157 that's odd but I'd call bergara because it looks like whoever qc'd yours didn't check torque
