Watching this video just reminds me on how shafted Knuckles got in this episode. He was able to knockout Super Sonic in his base form (Sonic 3), and has unique forms of his own (Super Knuckles, Hyper Knuckles, and Chaos Knuckles just to name a few). None of these forms were ever mentioned in the Death Battle episode (not to mention the ridiculousness of Sonic Scaling) meaning that he should’ve taken the dub (especially if it’s Archie Knuckles). Also the fact that they're using Boom Knuckles for feats is wild 🔥🔥🔥.

those feats were not accomplishable without 1 or more of the chaos emeralds power which isn't within his normal arsenal so in a random encounter he wouldn't have those multipliers, and they didn't use Giant DK form or the variety of external abilities he has either which seems pretty fair. Plus that Sonic Boom feat actually helped his stats all things considered

See, that's why I don't like mixing up versions of characters. If they stick with just games, than DK wins. i assume Knuckles would not go Super because DK also have a "Super" form and he doesn't use it often, just like Knuckles. also it's better to just have the characters in their normal forms, makes a better fight, because unlike Mario, DK don't have many power ups to make a fight with lots of powers and transformations. If it's Archie Comics, than yeah, Knuckles wins, but it's better to just stick with one thing instead of mixing a lot of media together. also Knuckles knockout Classic Super Sonic, he is not even close as strong as normal Super Sonic. that's important.

@@Lonely.Ghoul_ Death Battle allows for non-standard equipment in their rule-set. I'm unsure if they had this rule in older seasons or not, but in a Death Battle Cast they said they allowed it as long as it makes the battle more interesting (also you can tell that they use this rule in more recent db episodes). Personally I feel like they didn't accommodate either forms. Plus, Knuckles has experience with the emeralds (especially in the classic games), so it wouldn't be entirely wrong for him to have some of them during a fight (or even the master emerald). Additionally, Boom Knuckles is probably one of the worst versions of Knuckles you could go off of (feat-wise and stupidity-wise).

It is. In the manual booklet that came with the game, it is said that Crank Kong is the grandfather of the current Donkey Kong, meaning that Cranky Kong is the OG Donkey Kong.

Tbh this why I cant watch Death Battle, because how do they forget about the most crucial stuff like the fact that he can run nearly as fast as Sonic or the fact that he can go Hyper Knuckles with the emeralds, or even that he can imbue his punches with fire They gave D.K. his weapon of choice, yet Knuckles was left ass out without his chaos emeralds to empower him. They always put in like four facts for a character and forget like 90 other important facts. It ain't just with Knuckles and D.K. either. Respect to Kong, but they disrespectful to the underdogs with half-asses facts like 70% of the time.

@@SamirJackson-uh5ce bro these death battles are clearly biased. knuckles real life no diffs donkey kong and it's not even funny. most of the sonic universe will diff the mario universe and there are many videos out there that explain the canon and non canon facts as to why this is the case. mario isn't beating sonic in any sense of the word, strength or speed. and knuckles is definitely not losing to donkey kong in terms of raw power output. how this is even a death match is beyond me. especially since knuckles scales to sonic in speed, and speed wise sonic diffs mario and mario tanks donkey kong. so what that mean for knuckles? 😂

No super knuckles is wild, it’s rarely used but it’s canon within the games. They used the games for info as well, if donkey Kong had a transformation they should have included that too, knuckles got shafted, hell both of them got shafted in this Mickey fight
