Christoph Hartman, oboist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, gives a master class for the KZfaq Symphony Orchestra 2011 introducing the oboe parts in Rossini's Overture "La scala die seta", Richard Strauss's "Don Juan" and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4. Learn more at / symphony
Working with young musicians and making classical music available to a worldwide audience on the Internet are main objectives of the Berliner Philharmoniker. The orchestra is therefore delighted to support the unique project of a KZfaq Symphony Orchestra.

I particularly like the sound quality of his high D and C, and the consistency of character in the first solo, very well played.

it's very interesting if you put some of percussion+timpani master class,the Berliner percussion group are the best int that moment in the world.Greetings from Bulgaria

@mjfoboe He's not shaking his body for intensity, it's to get a vibrato, it adds to the music.
