Y el chico de melena larga es parte de The Lion, quienes obtuvieron el tercer lugar. A Dimash le dieron el segundo lugar. No podían darle el primero porque no es ciudadano chino. Ha sido el concursante más joven de la historia de ese programa. A partir de ahí su carrera despegó de la noche a la mañana. In this video, you see a young (age 22) man from Kazakhstan, singing a French 1970's rock opera piece in a Chinese singoff. Now just a couple of months from turning 30 and has trained classically from age 5. He has perfect pitch, is musically multi-talented. Playing 7 instruments, and has a 7+ octave range. With all of those talents, he believes the greatest things is the emotion and heart a musician can. He is rich beyond belief as most of the world love him and he spends his life touring in concerts and on good will missions. He was the official Ambassador to China by Kazakhstan at age 22. Dimash (Coo Die Bergen) compleated and received his Ph.D in the spring of 2023 after completing a Bachelors and Masters in Music as well. It's pronounced Dee-mosh Coo-die-bear-gen and he's from Kazakhstan singing here in 2017 in a Chinese competition for established artists as the youngest ever competitor. He's a genre defying artist who sings anything from opera to rap. Musically trained since the age of 5, he holds a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is soon to finish his PhD. He's also just been appointed by the United Nations as Global Ambassador for Migration, he recently performed with Placido Domingo when they were both judges on a classical music competition for young people and then released his new MV When I've Got You which is a blues/rock combo with a vampire themed video.

(d'un Terrien en détresse)" is originally from a French-Canadian musical called 'Starmania' from the 1970s and is considered one of the most difficult French songs to perform. Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He appears here in the fifth season of Hunan Television's "I Am A Singer" competition. "I Am A Singer" is an annual Chinese music competition between famous and established professional singers. The audience phones in to determine the winner after each episode. It is the same throughout the entire show; 500 with musical backgrounds judge the show by points each week. At 22 years old, Dimash was the youngest participant in the show's history and competed against these professional and top-selling Chinese singers as a 'wildcard' competitor. The competition consists of 14 rounds, lasts almost 4 months, and competitors are eliminated throughout the season. Every performance is live, and no lip-syncing or auto-tune is permitted. Pure unadulterated vocal ability only. Dimash's mother later said that he hoped to reach at least the middle stage of the competition. This was the very first episode of the competition, and Dimash had to go first because he was considered the weakest, given that he was completely unknown to the audience. After this performance, he became a superstar in China overnight. His Chinese competitors called him their "little imported brother." The other already well-known contestants were in absolute awe of him and joked that they might as well go home. Dimash won the first two episodes! Ezen a versenyen /I'm Singer!/ Kína legjobb énekesei szerepelnek. Dimash a legfiatalabb és egyetlen külföldi énekes, aki a 14 fordulós verseny első napján első énekesként lépett fel. A Khazak performer singing a French song on a competition show for established singers to a Chinese audience. He performed first, the least coveted position and he won. I liked and subscribed hoping for more Dimash reactions😊 Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. I've been on the Dimash train for 5 years or so now, & I always enjoy seeing someone encounter this phenomenal performer for the first time. Phonetically, the K version of his surname is rendered in English as /koo die bur gen/. The Q version (Qudaibergen) employs a sound that doesn't exist in English, but if you can make that sound, then the first syllable is /qoo/ & the rest is the same. (Note : there is no /kw/ sound [as in queen or quick] with the /Qu/ in his Kazakh-rendered name; the /q/ sound is like a /k/, but made an inch or two farther back in the mouth, & the /u/ vowel sound is produced normally, not combined with the /q/ into the /kw/ sound.) A lot of people try to pronounce his name "perfectly", but any respectful effort is certainly good enough. As a linguist, I've studied bits and pieces of 30 or 40 different languages, & I've found that, on the world stage, it's just a fact that I'm gonna run into sounds I can't even distinguish, much less reliably produce myself. Just do your best. That works. Anyway, I enjoyed your reaction a lot. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and he was taking part in a Chinese talent show when this was recorded. As he isn't chinese, he came 2nd (only Chinese contestants can actually win).
