hope in the world? what planet are you on? If you thinks telling people to support Clinton is giving anyone hope then you are clearly Insane. .I would urge you to watch a documentary called (the Clinton cronicals )and the hen review your opinion on her.and Bere in mind that berny sanders knows about the murders the cocain running the drug addiction. The rapes and the blackmail and sexual asaults etc. etc...do I need to go on?

+Phil Brown foo I think you're probably right about Clinton -- I certainly don't trust her for a second. I'm not an American, but I am what most Americans would probably call Liberal (for the most part -- there's not an accurate overlap), and i don't see Clinton as very much better an option than Trump. It's very much America's business who they vote in, but it *will* affect all of us, and I'm pretty worried. As for Bernie ... well, at this point, there wasn't much else he could do, and I think it was generous of him to so forcefully refocus the expectations on Clinton with this speech. (Even if he did slyly slip in a few policies of his own that Clinton hadn't come to the party on.)
@pramitbanerjee

Phil Brown foo I am on planet earth . And yes, i have seen the shady dealings with clinton. But do you really want to vote donald trump? come on. Being involved in some political mishandling, or some sexual whatnot does not mean you are a bad administrator and the problem with your politics(and with ours too) is that we give personality too much importance than the ability to make good decisions which clearly trump does not exhibit

+panterizate Really?! That's the logic of a five year old wanting attention. He's mouthed motherhood statements wrapped in bunting, but given no indication of what he means by them, what the consequences might be for those who put their hope in him, nor the slightest ability to achieve anything in the scope of his bombast. I'm shocked that Americans would be so blitheringly stupid as to elect him. Sadly, Clinton isn't much of an alternative -- she's not a thinker, she's not guided by principles and she wants it for her own elevation rather than because she thinks she can do a good job. Sanders was America's only real chance in all this.

+hategreed1 It's not a competition. Bernie didn't invent socialism or progressive liberalism. A lot of us have held those values for a long time without knowing who Bernie was. This shouldn't be about any single person, as he said in his speech. It's about the ideas. Those "American fools" are your neighbors and family. Don't fall into the trap of feeling contempt for others who see a different vision for this country. We have to disagree about things. The majority can sometimes act irrationally, but politics in the US has become such a hostile playing field that no one really wants to be involved except the hardcore political junkies and extremists. Insulting people most likely results in lower voter interest and lower participation. That's the opposite of what we need. The people you dismiss as fools today might be needed friends tomorrow. We're all in this together.

Psst... When you say stuff like that, it makes them smile. You have resorted to name-calling, and you look like the one who lost. Discussion and decorum always work better than frustrated outbursts, especially if you suspect trolling. We all have to make this country work, even the people who see things differently. I don't like a single thing about Trump, but his followers are not stupid just because their candidate is (remember GW Bush), and they also want to make this a better country. We have to trust that much of each other when we disagree. We have to disagree, otherwise voting would be unnecessary. We have to be at peace with disagreement and allow the ballot box to settle things. It works. (Well, maybe not so much in Florida in 2000...)

To be a Trump supporter is to be totally out of touch with reality and just plain messed up. Clinton is not without guilt, however she is a far better choice between the two. Personally, I would have selected Bernie Sanders. Very upset he did not make the nomination.

You are "Very upset he did not make the nomination?!?!? HE HAD NO SHOT. It was RIGGED by the DNC (his own party) & HRC from the start. IT WAS AN ILLUSION... Wake Up, The ultimate insult was when Bernie made it official & sold you out, along with the other 2,500,000 people by endorsing that Treasonous Felon in HRC. This speech is GARBAGE LIP SERVICE. Bottom Line: You were DUPED.

HRC deleted 33,000 emails AFTER the FBI issued a subpoena for her to appear before them in court. FBI Director James Comey himself said: "None of these emails should have been on any kind of unclassified system". She has committed crimes against the people of the United States of America. She's guilty of destroying evidence (re 33k emails) She had that "private email server" in her house for YEARS. She lied, she was then busted in her lies & then continued to lie about not lying. With that, she has disqualified herself from ever being POTUS. This isn't my "opinion" this is FACT.

"If someone in this country works 40 hours a week, that person shouldn't be living in poverty". --- That sentence, I think, represent the core of Bernie's beliefs. To hold this belief is not mutually exclusive with a highly productive society. It is incompatible though, with a society that see fellow countrymen as prey to feed on, or the vehicle of the profit to be made. If you think that being born is a product of chaos and that the people around you is a "social landscape" you can use to advance yourself at the expenses of everyone and everything, then this guy is not going to connect with you. If you think that society its not an accident, that there is order and meaning in our organization, that we live toghether to take care of each other as we, as a comunity, shape our future... then this guy makes sense. That's what I draw from this.

The guy did the best he could do to bring change to the politics of the US. He did not manage to win the nomination. Supporting Hillary in her fight against Trump proves how much he puts the benefit of the country over personal ego... Those who say that Sanders betrayed his cause are overtly emotional, and do not understand how politics work. Yes Hillary was his rival, but you don't revenge for the loss of your candidate by throwing the country off the cliff by letting Trump win... I love you Bernie Sanders!

that's the worse thing you could do. I don't understand how blacks vote for her when she calls them Super predators, her husband was responsible for mass incarceration and now in 2016 he is saying it's a mistake

madman3470 he made it worse. It went from 855,000 to 2.2 million after Clinton left office. Clintons were supposed to help Haitians creating jobs and rebuilding roads and business but instead were getting millions from Irish and Haitian business men that were taking advantage of the people.

+love jones Sanders and many black senators backed the bill. The 92 riots ushered in bill, and was the reason it passed. In LA people that looked "white" even if they're were Latinos got beaten up. It was the same people going beating up people. We see the long term effects but we ignore what caused it to pass. We give a blind eye to.

@walter Ruiz what does that have to do with anything? Riots have nothing to do with Mass incarceration. You are sounding real prejudice right now. It was purposely done to keep a large number of a race behind. People were locked up for minor drug charges like walking down the street with a tiny bag of weed. Blacks are not the only ones who smoked weed during that time but were arrested higher. Clinton already said they made a mistake with Mass incarceration. I think those riots were an excuse to pass that bill.

Thank you Bernie. I voted for Sanders and even contributed money to his campaign. I would have preferred him to be the nominee. However, it is over and now it is time to let our voices continue to be heard by moving Clinton to the left and stacking congress with people who share our ideals. To those threatening to vote for Trump instead of Clinton. Seriously, don't be stupid. Voting for Trump would be like going to the store to get your favorite beer, noticing they are out, and deciding to down a bottle of bleach instead. Do you think Trump is going to fight for a higher minimum wage? Do you think Trump is going to work to make college more affordable? Do you think Trump will work to stop climate change? No.. No he won't.
