@MurdKaiser It was more like they tried to blend 2d and 3d animation with two different teams, but they failed to coordinate. They were also having trouble with the character models and shading so it ended up looking terrible.

@@nova_steric1749 they still use some weird cgi, and are technically just recaps, we need an adaptation that goes from start to finish and fleshes everything out with beautiful animation, if they make an anime they gotta spend a good 5 years at the very least to develop a single season

@@adumpster235 i think it will never happen, because investors are so afraid that only a niche would watch it. Berserk is not as marketable as kodansha/shueisha titles unfortunately. Or, at least, that's what they think.

And game makers too. Berserk was a great source of inspiration for Miyazaki to produce the Souls series and Bloodborne, also, the Valkyrie from the Elden Ring trailer and what else we may have inside the game once it is out, someday...

I reckon they could do ok. The trade off with more complex art styles is how much actual animation is used, jojo has an ok amount for such a niiiiiiicceee artstyle, so maybe David pro could pull it off. But right now they've still got part 5 and fore force to animate, and chances are they probably won't try to animate Berserk. Oh well. Put your grasses on, nothing will go wrong

Im sorry, but David Pro has its hand full with JoJo. And we all dont want the awesome animation to drop down. Just think of Doppio VS Risotto. Never seen such clean animations. Madhouse could be an idea, but yet again they are probably busy with Overlord.

@Dzintra681 I do not really care about graphics, but the graphics in Berserk made me care. Just hideous and absolutely ruined the story for me. The movies were ten times better and they didnt even use a lot of CGI. You cant tell me that the bad graphics didnt distract you.

Why is there no official page where fans can spend their money for a proper adaption by a good anime studio that will do the manga justice? Or even just to collect signatures of people that are interested on such a project. We need something organizated as long as Miura Sensei is alive lol

This show had everything on point EVERYTHING GOING FOR IT. Characters, story, source material, soundtrack, voice talent. Then they said "mmmmm animate too hard wahhh"

Dude, this opening is just PERFECT. It goes through all the wrath and revenge atmosphere that Griffith evoked to all of us, especially Guts. Too bad they did an awful anime to a perfect opening. This makes me very sad.

I liked this Berserk :) It got me into the series. I recognize that people are really attached to the manga’s visual style and the cgi they used wasn’t as good as today’s, but it still brought me into the series so I’ll always appreciate it for that.

This song gives me motivation to live. I've always been depressed.But I've always tried to hold everyones burden on me without trying to affect anybody. But now my dad has cancer and I don't know if i have the power like Guts to get through this. But regardless I'm going to try. For my dad, for my mom, for my family because I need it. I need to conquer this just like he will. I know this doesn't really correlate but thank you anime lovers for hearing me out. I love you all.....
