I can not believe how well this worked. I thought it was going to be an absolute disaster. Rick brought out the silly/creative side of Bert without letting him go off the rails. It was almost like Rick's humor was tasing Bert into staying on track.

Leave it to Rick to get the best interview I’ve ever heard with Bert. We’ve all heard and many have had their fill of Bert the buffoon & the forced laughter that’s almost a caricature now, but this really opened my eyes to how sharp and shrewd of a businessman he is. No never ending Brogan marathons, but an interesting and still fun discussion that brought out a whole other side of the guest. Don’t know another podcast host that consistently brings his own unique perspective to each episode and it’s fascinating to see how it resonates and then connects with their personality.

Bert is too borderline hated. It's just a bummer people think this way. What a beautiful soul. Started small, low, and got right to it. Successful in many ways including a husband, a father and a friend. I think people who talk shit might have no ambition. If you're one of these people let it go and do EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO BE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF. Also I'm drunk so take it or leave it. Btw... great cast Rick.

I can't sit for the episode right now, but I wanted to share the reaction of a friend of mine that happened to be looking for something to watch right as I recommended checking out Razzle Dazzle. Her texts, verbatim, in order: Why is he topless. 😂😂😂 Ok. This is pretty golden. I have actually laughed out loud several times now and I'm like 10 minutes in. Oh my god. The escape room shit has me on tears right now. I replied later: I really enjoyed that whole thing. The school raffle stuff was killing me. Her: Yes!! That was fantastic I didn't realize that I'd never shared any of his bits with her if she was opening up with "why is he topless?" Still won her over in the first few minutes with only a blind recommendation. It's up there with Secret Time for me. I can't wait to watch this episode. Crossing my fingers for some animated nudity.
