Here is one of my special vasant panchmi recipes! This is a besan ka halwa that you can make in just 10 minutes. Seriously! This besan halwa can be made in only 10 minutes!
And this besan ka halwa promised to be as ‘danedaar’ and as delicious as it gets.
Besan ka Halwa being yellow in colour, is offered as prasad to Devi Saraswati on Vasant Panchami.

Recipe :
Besan Ka Halwa
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 8 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
1 cup besan
2 tbsp rawa
½ cup ghee
2 tbsp milk
½ cup Sugar
A pinch yellow food color (optional)
1 pinch saffron
4-5 green cardamoms
1 cup Water
Almonds, halved
Pistachio, sliced
Method:
Boil the water with the saffron, split green cardamoms and the food colour.
Heat ghee in a kadhai. Add the besan and the rawa and sauté on low heat for 4-5 minutes till fragrant and the besan leaves the oil. Add in the sugar and mix well. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add the flavored water, chironjee, fried almonds and mix well. Sauté for 2 minutes. Add the milk and mix well.
Serve garnished with fried almonds and pistachio.
