This is a great farm me and my friends did 8 layers and we are getting insane gunpowder

if you are going to use the creepers to repair mending tools (or any mob farm), make the blocks on the side and back of the kill chamber of Obsidian. This way it wont insta-mine with efficiency pickaxes.

Thank God because I built a creeper farm under ground perfectly and it wasn’t working so I decided to build yours. It’s a lot of work but it’s worth it. The faster you want gunpowder the more layers you put

bro acts like we all in creative mode

explaining the trapdoors and buttons, the trapdoors are seen as full block to the mobs, so they'll walk into it falling down. without the trapdoors, no mob would fall. the buttons keep spiders from spawning. mobs cannot spawn on air or misc blocks (like slabs or buttons). the buttons keep spiders from spawning perfectly. there is one problem though, zombies and skeletons still spawn. i personally dont mind the skeletons or zombies because they just mean more exp. but, to get rid of them, you could try putting trapdoors on the bottoms of the spawn platforms. idk if it works, but if you want only creepers, its worth a shot. creepers are shorter than zombies and skeletons, and i know they need 2 blocks or more of space. so, maybe the creepers need a little less for being shorter?

worked pretty good, by the way if for some reason it is not working make sure that you dont have a village or cave near you cause that would decrease the amount of mobs that would spawn in the bc creeper farm
