Hello thanks for the review. I have the same monitor. I didn't have any problems with the games, I use freesync open. However, while watching movies on the internet or in the media player, there is a blur in moving scenes. What is the reason? Or do you know which setting is?

I plan to buy this monitor for ps5, but one question worries me, at 120hz, the monitor can produce 10-bit color, ps5 produces a maximum of 120hz, that is, when connecting this monitor to ps5, it should be 10 bit and 120hz?

Does your unit have a weird sort of oily/greasy/grainy look to it? Not sure if it's just ASUS using an aggressive matte coating or if there's something wrong with mine, but it's especially noticeable over white and light colored screen elements. It looks like there's a thin film of Vaseline over the whole screen or something. Trying to decide if I can get used to it or if I should return it.

While using this monitor, I am seeing random horizontal white lines appearing out of no where, do you have a fix?

Hey, yes. Today I bought this monitor and changed DisplayPort cable because of that random line. I use DP 1.4 cable with 1.5m length. The problem disappeared after that. It's a shame that they give such a good monitor without a good cable.

Amd rx 570 4 gb. But i don't think it is about drivers. Changing cable helped, not updating drivers.

You could use any USB-C 3.1 cable or above. The one I was using is an Amazon Basics cable but I couldn't find the exact one. If you want a good quality one, Cable Matters is good and they have white : amzn.to/4bZBG9R (affiliate link). You could also invest a little more in a USB4 cable, but not needed.

How is ips glow and backlight bleed on this?

Not that bad and it also depends on how bright you have the monitor relative to ambient lighting. Ive seen much worse, and I always expect some type of glow and backlight bleed on IPS, and this does a pretty good job keeping it minimal

Does this monitor has a coil whine? Many users tell about it when PC is off and monitor is in sleep mode.

3070 would be better for 1440P but I recommend looking at 1440P benchmarks to really know what to expect. If you don't mind turning down graphics settings, then you should be fine

I think its better you take a better graphic card, for 1440p, go for RX 7900 GRE/RX 7800 XT if you like NVIDIA, go for rtx 4070/4070 super but usually nvidia is more pricey. can adjust with your budget, right now I think the best value is rx 7900 gre

There's a test 1440P option which should then allow you to change resolution to 1440P. If that doesn't work, I would change HDMI cables.

i sent back mine (return Refund) cauz of Horizontal Flickering and Couples of Blackouts ( the store said they dont see the problem) ASUS Thing WARRANTY
