Күн бұрынToday we have a pretty budget BEAST from Vetroo this is their V5 Air cooler and it really packs a pretty punch for the budget. V5 retails for $35 it comes in two colors white or black, the cooler itself has 5 heat pipes, it comes with a 120mm PWM fan. It also support both Intel LGA 1200 115X / AMD Ryzen AM4 Universal Socket with Addressable RGB Lights. Very nice looking cooler, and that price is so nice! I am actually surprised it has such good performance. that would be a good cooler for many builds that don't want water cooling,, but want great performance and a low price. Thanks for bringing that to everyone's attention, great video as always!

Hey Kosher! I've been thinking of getting this specific cooler (46 CAD), but I also considered their Lurker 240mm aio (for 100 CAD) since it looks dope aswell. Just wanted to know if the price for said aio is worth it (I know you only reviewed the 360mm version, but still) compared to the V5. Like, which is quieter and which performs the best?

just picked up this cooler for my ryzen 7 2700x. dropped my temp under load from the wraith prism (stock) cooler, while upping my oc from 4.05 ghz to 4.1 ghz. for the price, this cooler is the shit. after getting this cooler, i decided to dial the aesthetics of my build in, and got white case fans for the rest of my build that you reviewed in another video. just got turned onto your videos while looking up some fan info the other day. good shit. keep lettin em know.

Are you sure you put the fan on the right way round? It seems to me that having the leads sticking out of the top isn't the best way to do things especially as you say you want to hide them. Surely they should be on the left or right depending on where the CPU fan header is on the motherboard.

Is it supposed to come with standoffs because when the heatsink is sitting on the cpu the screws are pretty high up and I dont wanna put heavy pressure on my cpu pins to install the heatsink

I have a montech case aswell as a blessing from the heavens my stock cooler from the ryzen 5 3600 at heavy load goes to 57c and idle 34c to 44c also do you have the settings on the fans that can also vary my fans are always on performance mode not standard or max of course it shortens the life span but having a stock having such low temps is amazing dispite amd being notorious for a wonky stock cooler I believe my rpm can go up to 2200 so having a new fan that only goes 1700 is ok but I'm a person of performance over sound lol regardless I ordered the fan from Amazon and I'll save it till my stock dies on me

Vetroo told me that you could the hub that comes with the Aigo DR12Pro fans to connect the ARGB. I did try it and still no lights. But seller is sending me another for free. We'll see. Really like this cooler.

I got the Black version. I like it, but the lights aren't working. It should at least get rainbow by connecting to the four pin CPU connection right? Or does it need to be connected also to an ARBG connector? I tried that too but nothing. Vetroo told me I could use the Aigo DR12Pro hub for that but still didn't work. Any advice?

I was able to get the lights working. I have the Aigo DR12Pro fan set. I got the cooler fan plugged into the 5v connection on the hub that came with the fans. I worked! So for those that want this fan but don't have ARBG connector on the motherboard you can buy the AigoDR12pro hub and remote separately online and use that. Only $15 and comes with remote. If you have the above fans, this will sync the cooler fan with them. But it does have a slight lag though. But for solid colors or rainbow it's great.

Only place I could find one is here aigostore.com/product/aigo-dr12pro-120mm-computer-case-fan-remote-controller-copy/ Notice at the end of the controller you'll see the three pin connector. There are two of those. The remote comes with it. Be aware though that the hub connects to powersupply by the way of a molex four pin connector. If you don't have that I'm sure you can find a sata to molex adapter on ebay cheap.

As long as it’s 120 mm with an identical shroud it should work.

Nothing wrong with the Thermal Paste it comes with!. Works 100%! I fitted the black one a few days ago. Amazing results..... 64 Degrees Max on Cinebench R23 - R7/3700X.

@@KosherTech yea i was looking at reviews for the 11gen and they said the stock cooler wouldn't cut it and they said it was better if you got an after market cooler so ive been looking and i found this one and man all the reviews are good and say its way better than the amd stock cooler which is way better than intel stock coolers which are hot garbage and this cooler seems really good and able to keep temperatures down

Push pull often makes some kind of difference... Except in my case. A second fan was a waste of money for the Arctic cooling product I bought.

I was using a Darkflash Shadow Pro cooler. I decided to get this one. When I used the Vetroo thermal paste I saw no changes in temps. So I used some other paste I had Halnziye Gold thermal paste. Using that and this cooler my idea temps went down from 40c to 35ish. While gaming my temps dropped from 65c to 50c to 56c. So with no overclocking and decent thermal paste I think this is a decent cooler. It will run with just the cpu header but for the ARBG you do need a connection for that, otherwise the lights will not work. Looks great in the case too!

this is first air cooler you use? xD p.s.: water coolers suck! :p only once i try use liquid cooler of very famous brend (i dont tell what brend:)) and... pump brocken after five months xDD i will NEVER back to water cooler again! only air coolers as bigger is better!!

the black one actually gives just a little bit more performance than the white one because the white one is painted and black isnt it uses the same color process as noctua so id say about 3-6c less with black

Those fan clips were a major PITA trying to get installed in an existing PC. In fact this has to be one of the most PITA air coolers to install.
