great review..You should do a review of the Alfred Security App..I tried it out and it works fine...Only problem I find is about leaving phones plugged in while away from home..

thanks for the review. do you know if the camera are connected to you wifi or on a specific wifi created by the homebase? Does the cameras needs to be close to the homebase or just reach the wifi network that is connected to the wired network where the homebase is pluged?

They connect to the homebase, not your home’s wifi network. They have to be somewhat close to the homebase. I have my homebase set in the middle of the house and bother cameras have full signal

@@RedskullPro thanks for your answer. So I have a doubt that external cam in the garden can reach the center of my flat. That always the problem with solution that use a central base. And as I’m looking for battery camera it’s not easy to find the right model. Thanks for your help BTW.

Just a regular 2.5” 5400rmp hard drive. Pretty cheap too… this one was $44

If your home is broken into, isn't it very easy for the thieves to remove the whole security set-up and carry it away??

If they know about it absolutely, they can just take the base and everything is gone!

Video footage is saved on the camera and home base for redundant storage. You should hide the home base. Most thieves want to come in quickly and get out quickly.

I think they would be going in fast for money, jewelry, small electronics like laptops or game systems……I don’t think something looking like a wifi router will interest them. Why knows

Look at a 4k nest camera and you’ll quickly realize how well this is priced :)

It’s actually a bargain for the price. I have some doubts about battery longevity though and it’s a very closed system that doesn’t support any open standards like ONVIF.
