Recently I got a few requests, someone asking for more mean-reverting and for simple strategies with few indicators. So I decided to make one.
And it was well worth it, this strategy turned out to be one of the best if not the best forex strategy I have ever showcased.
I used only 3 indicators the keltner channel the CCI and the RSI.
And the results? Thousands of net profit, low drawdowns and steadily uptrending equity curves on multiple assets and timeframes, this strategy is simply mindblowing.
In this video I will showcase this mean-reverting scalping trading strategy made for forex and it's results on multiple assets and timeframes.

I got the 10 requests so here is the FULL strategy script with 2 extra functions:
normal and reversed trend(baseline) filter, volume+MA filter: entries only allowed if voume is higher than volume based MA(50 length)*Multiplier value.

Can you show the settings of above script indicator My result changed after setting based on your explanation I think there is some problem with CCI overbought and oversold in script

@greed9467 In the script code the long only optimization is set up as default. I added 3 spreadsheets to the same folder: 1 is the settings of long only optimization, 2nd for long and short optimization and 3rd for short only optimization.

Great job on this - simple is best (or so we are told) ... here's a thing - how did you arrive at this? Trend following strats can be done momentum --> trend --> volume --> exit (deterministically). Is it possible to make an MR strategy in a deterministic way?

One question... You enter long when we are below the overbought line of CCI and exit when it crosses above the middle line... but what if we already are above the middle line and still below the overbought level? When do you exit then?

@tradesmart i have a little question, in minute 5:35 you say that you will not work with a stop loss, so you don´t use any pips or lot size? You just buy the NZD and sell it to GPB again? I just know the Lot size / pip world, but you mentioned, that you work here in another way Thanks a lot brother

Yes that's correct this strategy don't use a stop loss, it exits the position when the exit signal is printed.

those would be impressive results with the correct fee settings. but unfortunately you've set the commissions wayyyy too low (0.00005% instead of 0.00005 per contract, which is about what you get from low commission brokers) 😢 but nice work anyway, thanks for the sourcecode. 👍👍 really like your videos

First we have to monitor this strategy to see if it's not overfitted if it's not and your broker has the same fees as I used with this strategy it should be possible.

I cannot spot the difference between this Custom Keltner Channel and the TradingView default Keltner Channel. 🤔 When configuring the default Keltner Channel to source hlc3, disable "Use Exponential MA", and set the lengths, I get the same result. Do I overlook something?

If you try with real commission and spread the strategy isnt profitable at all…in low timeframe you destroy your account

I am not here to criticize you because you looks like one honest trader from 100 of scammer but i want to understand and maybe try out your strategy . And one more personal question . I see that your channel is from Romania , and i hear from your accent that you maybe hungarian , is it true?

Nice try, but if you apply 0.1% fee this make the strategy not usable, you will loose all the money on your account.. This is the difficulty on scalping. Your winning trades have to cover your fee if you don't want to loose money each trades. Anyway good approche.

Even with this click bait you got little to no views of course you will make thousands of percent % in return because your backtest last for thousands of days. Your profit factor is very low.

@TradeSmart22 are you gonna start being honest and upfront with people from now on. Are you good give them realistic expectations thousands of % per month or even per year is impossible. Unless the win rate is atleast 65% atleast 300 trades are taking per month and profit factor is atleast 1.5. The strategy in this video is basic. If you start being upfront and honest with your subscribers and you provide then actual value rather than false hope. You can grow your bussiness. I see you have the potential.
