Darvas' success was much more than discovering the so-called Darvas box. It included careful stock selection, waiting for the particular momentum, managing risk, AND (!!!) position adding of the winning trade. Darvas had an unmatched ability for self-correction and emotional self-regulation. One of the main reasons (among other things) why he made so much money is that he pyramided the winner. He also was waiting for a particularly high relative strength stock with high momentum. If momentum was slowing down he would not pyramid it. Etc... You can't "backtest" the Darvas strategy's fine details. The Devil is in the details. He did not trade just 52 weeks high, but rather an all-time high. You can't mechanically short Darvas box (lol) Darvas box strategy always works when it is allied correctly.

This is the first time I have seen the ADX used this way. Usually most videos I have watched use it as an entry signal when the ADX line has crossed above the 30 level. Some use 20 for smaller timeframes.

You said that it could take you months to test all the combinations in Tradingview? I think you should change your backtesting platform. These tests would take a few hours in platforms like Ninjatrader or Metatrader.

great effort and quality (already subscribed , my pleasure) If you accept constructive criticism: While this kind of initiative is great (trying to seek the truth among all bullshit claims in youtube), I really think this is kind of half the path , i mean , 100 times backtest is certainly something, but maybe too low. It owuld be greater if you automate the process of backtesting (i know it would be difficult), but then you can backtest over the last 10k or even 100k times (multiple timeframes / pairs , etc) , that surely would be something new in youtube and your channel would grow exponentially as it would easily became top 3 channel for all this community in youtube. Yes,part 2 please! Also,test ADX with different moving averages like SMMA. You can also put a moving average on any 0 line cross indicator and smooth the settings so test that as well.
