The EC9s is my EDC. It is light, accurate, and rugged as all get out. I highly recommend it.

I carry a Glock 48 mos with the holosun 507k and streamlight tlr7sub. My wife carries an sig p365 xl with the Romeo zero and tlr7 sub as well. Of the list you made, the Taurus g2c/g3c would be the best choice. They need a break in unlike a Glock or sig but after that break in, you will have a very reliable pistol.

The G3c has a great flat trigger only real challenge with that for a new student is the blacked out back site. People tend to shoot better with the 3 dot system.

Today’s gun market is absolutely wide open … Taurus G series is a great choice.. they perform way above their cost I saw last week GX4’s selling from $215-245 Taurus TS9 for 206-225 G2c’s 205-225 G3c 225-245 Nos that they are a optic craze pistols without a optic cut are being moved cheap PSA daggers Complete lower $49 Upper $189 Glock mags are everywhere CZ P10c are going for just $340 SIG 320s $389 So many Turkish pistols I can’t list !!! From $200 to $350

Over 600 rounds through my G2c of all kinds of ammo and still flawless. I support local gun shops when I am able and they have or can get what I need, otherwise I am forced to order somewhere else. Often though they don't stock or cannot get/order what I need whether guns, ammo, accessories, or reloading gear and supplies. If their prices are unrealistic and way higher compared to street value on the web then that is another reason. That is the problem with them.

Some folks talk down on Tauruses. I kinda understand because of the company's past track record of poor quality control. But they're under new management and have been doin much better nowadays. I have managed to put 3000 rounds through my G2 so yeah,they run. Notable budget pistol mentions are CZ P10 series, Caniks, and Stoeger.

I agree with supporting my local gun shops but where I live in the DMV most stores overcharge and for Glock, Sig, etc. Can be grossly overpriced! However I support my local gun stores as much as possible. I wish I lived close to your shop, sounds like a good one.

I own a Glock a couple of xd9 s but I carry a lc9 and a ec9s and also a Taurus g2c and g2s my bed side gun is a Taurus g3 with a light attached they all have over 500 rounds each through them I have a Sccy cpx2 but hasn’t been the best shoots good but very ammunition picky

Got Taurus from local dealer they even added 50 shells to help break it in. Support your local gun shop.

Taurus, maybe ... the rest are not worth protecting my life with. They're too unreliable, along with Jennings, Lorcin, SCCY and Raven. The best advice is to wait, save your money and purchase a good brand. Just my opinion.
