Great review of the #PYG suction mount. I really like that it doesn't use the screw in pins. That's got to save time when attaching and removing a GoPro.

Hey there Mate! Greetings from Florida. You are right the #PGY Suction Cup Mount does appear to be a nice addition to the kit. It sounds as if you trust it inside and outside your vehicle. Speaking of vehicles, I thought for the longest time you had a chauffeur but finally realized you guys simply drive on the "wrong" side of the road! As always, thank you for a comprehensive report well presented.

I really like the way it’s set up for an action camera, too. We put a GoPro on the dash a lot but it sits too low and the extension arms seem to move too heavy and the 3m tape isn’t strong enough to hold it to the dash. This could be a real solution for that. Cool product Mike! #PGY

Already have a suction mount which I've been able to put to good use. But as you said Ian, this one having a ball mount system makes it much quicker to set up. Also, it would make it possible for me to use in conjunction with the Ram Mounts on my motorbike. Super handy. #PYG

The cool thing is that you can use it for regular cameras, and it is so easily attuned to setting up a camera at the right angle for the subject. #PGY

#PGY Did you use it on the interior of the vehicle on the dashboard? Seems like it would work well to help with a dash cam. Would it work better on the dashboard or the windshield?

I ve got one of these and will be going drag racing tomorrow. I have a instashot360 to mount to it for some great footage. However I m a little hesitant to mount it on my car as I m not sure how fast I can go without it flying off. Like you said in the video, if mounted well it should hold but I wonder if it’s good for 150mph.

I have the Pgytech suction cup mount shown here. I would only use it with great care and not outside the car. My experience has been the suction on the body of the car is not reliable and can easily falls off. It has even fallen off when attached to the window of my car no matter how hard i push the suction cup. I definitely do not recommend using it outside any vehicle. I am looking for a more reliable suction cup that actually sticks. Btw does anyone know the suction weight tolerance of the Pgytech mount? In my opinion, it's not much. I tried attaching the mount on a clean flat glass table and it did not take much effort to pull it off. This is a worry for me
