Excellent demonstration of the Caplock system. I have their Quick Release plate on all of my gear. I am in DFW area in TX and use my DJI Pocket 2 everywhere I go. I also use the plates with aux. lighting, my cell phone, my bridge camera and all of my tri-pods.

Thanks for the informative video. I am waiting for my pocket 3 to arrive tomorrow. And I just so happen to be looking at mounting systems. So your video is a God-send. I've been using my Osmo 2 gimbal with my iPhone, and I have a mini 3 pro that Ive been using for the last year. Getting some fantastic footage of local landscapes and wildlife. I'm hoping the Pocket 3 will be a better alternative to using my smart phone, because of its ease of operation. Thanks Aldryn, I like the concept of the PYYTECH CapLock Quick Release system and the Mantispod Z. I currently use a GoPro 8 and a DJI Action 2. My favorite uses are bicycle touring, snorkeling, and hiking. The DJI Action 4 will be my next camera, thanks to your excellent reviews.. I love the idea of quick, secure switching of mounts without the traditional GoPro screw-in mount. Thanks for the excellent reviews!

Thanks, as always, for the fantastic video. We just took ALL our spare change to get the pretty darn great DJI Pocket 3. This PGYTECH CapLock MantisPod Z looks like it would be a great addition to our travel BEER VLOGGING kit. Sweetie & I have been doing BED and BEER Vlogs on a tiny 1600 subscriber channel since 2007, but never quite mastered the mounting options. This may solve a few tricks. Fingers and toes crossed.. And we will pour a pint too in hopeful anticipation. We are in Westchester County, NY. We don’t see many creatures like MantisPods here… unless they are imported from a Flytpath. Solo content creator from Kentucky. Rocking the OA4. Would love to get my hands on one of the Mantis Pod Z's!!! I have one of the Mantis Pod Pro's from when they originally came out. I love it, but its starting to show quite a bit of wear. Still works great, just doesn't look the part as much anymore. Love your video's Aldryn. FlytPath is one of the best!!

Hey, Aldryn, I'm in Salt Lake City, UT and very interested the PGYTECH system for my GoPro cameras. I appreciate the review as it has given me some additional security in the product. I have always thought the GoPro system could use a bit of an overhaul on it's connections because the action doesn't stop for you to unscrew from one connection and then screw in the next. It has felt a secure, but a bit cumbersome. Crossing my fingers for a win!

Dayton Ohio- Osmo Pocket 3, GoPro Hero 7, Insta360. I wish we could standardize tripod plates, camera mounts, and cable connectors. Can you imagine if our electrical sockets were all different? My day job is advertising- my passion is making people think. I have the original spyder pod- this looks like a huge improvement.

Thanks for the giveaway! I live in the province of Quebec (Canada) and I use GoPro cameras. I own a suction cup mount which I've used inside my car, but never outside cause I'm afraid it's gonna fall off! That triple suction cup mount looks solid and I would probably trust it more than a single cup!

From NYC. Have insta360 one r and rs, as well as the 1 inch 360 and x3. Basically the system I have been waiting for 🔥 How secure is that helmet mount for motorcycle use? Considering it's an adhesive 🤔 I'd be more nervous with that than a magnet or suction cups outside a car (which already freak me out lol)

I suppose it does help with weight but still wish it wasn't so much plastic. Feels and smells very cheap. That said, engineering wise, the quicklock system seems to be my favorite so far. Love the locking mechanism. Just wish again that it wasn't sort of negated by the fact that it's plastic, so I definitely wouldn't want any hits or falls to this system.
